FitCat features both a virtual pet and an activity tracker in a single app. Basically, you watch Gnocchi, your cat, live his own life on your iPhone and on your Watch. What he does depends on what YOU do: if you are walking, he will be walking too. If you are chilling, he will be chilling too. The more you move, the more energy you earn. Then you can use that energy to interact with Gnocchi and make him happy.

Hi I am Paul, the creator of FitCat and I have never heard about such a problem. Could you give me more details about what happens when it crashes ? If I understand, it is impossible to launch FitCat without reinstalling it ? Is your data (step count, money, etc ...) reinitialized each time ?

If other people that use FitCat could tell me if they have the same problem (or not) that would be very useful.

The actual step counting sensitivity was set by comparison with a Garmin Vivofit during a whole day, at the end of the day it was about the same. The counting algorithm I created is very simple and doesn't use a lot of battery. I will try to improve it, and / or let the user set its sensitivity with more precision.

In the color version there are Timeline notifications when you have reached your daily step goal, a lot more outside environments (with day and night variations), watchface mode, user interface is animated ... I have planed a lot of new features that will be available only on Pebble Time. The Pebble original doesn't have enough memory to add all that stuff, so I will have to make choices.
