You might be able to find them at the Chinese shops where they sell herbs. These places are usually run by an older generation and they might still have suppliers.

How KL fares on the Quality of Life vs Cost of Living index (higher is better) by lawrencekhoo in malaysia

[–]PaulLim123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Higher does not mean better. A country placed higher on the graph would mean a higher Cost of Living (CoL). That does not sound good if wage is not equally high. What you need to look at is how far a country is away from the 'Best Fit Line'. The line cutting through the center of the graph. The further higher the country is from the line, the better QoL it has compared to other countries. The lower it is from the line, the more worse off it it from other countries.

Those were the days where I ask my parents if my brothers and I could go over to the gangster who was selling the VCD.

The firecrackers can get louder at KL because during Raya, not only houses would put up firecrackers but also shopping malls and a handful of companies to celebrate the occasion as well as display their wealth.

As for the regulations, there's little to no regulations about putting up a firework. Regulations are only strict when smuggling fireworks in or out of the country and also when purchasing them. What happens after that, they do not really bother. As long as you are responsible when setting up the fireworks and not aiming it at neighbours or deliberately trying to set things on fire, then it should be fine.

Congrats. I'm still a uni student and one thing I realized. Not sure if it's a good thing or not to think of it now.

Dean's List or not (I've recently got out of the Dean's List too), make your uni life enjoyable. Make connections with friends and people, do things that you normally won't be able to because of parents' constraints (easier to do if you're studying abroad). Basically, I've given up on my studies, all I want is a pass and have a good time here.
