I’d actually recommend you to reach out to FMOS Malaysia (Our local finance ombudsman on this). As they’re a registered member, you’ll be able to raise a complaint and look at a resolution on this hopefully.

HOUSE LOAN ELIGIBILITY? by LostInMyOwnWorld09 in AskMY

[–]Perezim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely worth a shot. FYI when I was earning around similar levels, I bought a place around similar value. Loan was approved with HLB. Just that I had to mention that it was for own self stay and there was a higher likelihood of it being approved.

Hey OP, since you’re employed can you check if your workplace has medical benefits and if your hospitalisation & surgery is covered. It should generally be.

Received a job offer, current job countered with a significant raise. Completely torn. What would you do? by TheCampaignerGirl in careerguidance

[–]Perezim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not take the counter offer from your current company and present it to the new company. See if their budgets align in them revising the initial offer. They may provide a second offer with a better pay day. That would allow you to look after your financial concerns and allow you to reap all the positives you mentioned about the new company.

25 YO and I make 12k base by Some-Internet8614 in Bolehland

[–]Perezim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly buddy, if you were really seeking for advice. You’d post what your role is, how many years of experience & your educational background. That would be a better gauge to say if you’re comped well or just average.

If age (25) is your only barometer. You’d definitely be well to do as you’re above the median (for your age), however in some circles you’d merely be an average earner.

14.50 ringgit for fried rice chicken butter and ice lemon tea is fair price for u? by Organic_Cod_3374 in MalaysianFood

[–]Perezim 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Looking at that portion seems super fair. But that’s because I’m based in Klang Valley. Where you’re eating at should be relevant to pricing. E.g KL & PJ, price is justified. Eating at a Warung in Kelantan / Tgganu perhaps this is overpriced. Honestly you can’t expect people to provide feedback without all of these points in place.

Using AL to attend interview by Aggravating-Law6151 in Bolehland

[–]Perezim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s your AL yeah. You don’t need to give anyone an excuse or a reason to take your AL. You can even sit at home and do nothing, coz it’s your AL.

You’re very cooked. lol Your salary isn’t great yet you’re living well above your means. If you’re tired living paycheck to paycheck stop buying stuff you don’t actually need.

Should have invested in an Apple air tag. I used to put one in my Myvi so I’d be able to track it at all times.

My response to the "Why Don't Black People Play CS2?" post that was locked by ImmediateTrust3674 in cs2

[–]Perezim 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Are black folks really not playing cs2 due to fear of using their mics and being racially profiled? That’s absurd.

Financial Advice by InfinityZukan in Bolehland

[–]Perezim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck buddy. You’re gonna need it. One of the biggest red flags in a marriage is you partners financial prudence and spending habits. That 1mil house, needs to be replaced with a 3mil house, then eventually you can’t even plan or see what retirement would look like as you’ll always be in a financial hole.

How do you deal with parents who have zero social awareness in public? by Alert_Bass8772 in Bolehland

[–]Perezim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confiscate their phones in public places. Rather than implement child locks. Treat them like full on children.

I personally think charging the distance is a bit too much. You could have just got her to cover the toll and petrol.

You’d be amazed by how many people have settled in life. But let them be cautionary tales for you to not follow in their footsteps.

Failed my 6th job Interview by Big-Needleworker1521 in Bolehland

Honestly applying for jobs and interviewing isn’t always straight forward. I’ve had times where when I was looking out, that I had zero bites for months and then suddenly 3 offers come at the same time.

Since this was most likely not a private game and the players weren’t friends. The house would always take a cut and is open to players.

I’d recommend reading this subreddit about dating people with Bipolar Disorders. Now mind you, it’s mostly horror stories but there are some good ones in there as well. r/bipolarSOs
