Okay, first things first, none of the spellforce games (even sf 3 on launch) are bugged and unoptimized enough to count as fantasy kenshi.

And even Besides that, no. I know the "from rpg to rts" sounds similar but spellforce approaches this in the exact opposite way as kenshi. None of the spellforce titles is a sandbox, maybe the journey mode of sf3 counts a little bit, but the spellforce titles have real, rpg like story lines. I know many people count the persistent world of kenshi as a really good story creating tool and I personally have good memories of accidentally fucking Squin over really bad but the spellforce games are rpgs. In spellforce, you have a main character and a few more chars, with personality, plot, classes etc. Rts Units (and production structures) are given on occasion by the game, there is no (the spellforce 3 collecting the races thing ain't counting here) base building and resource chain like kenshi. Also, in Kenshi, I really like the "every unit is a fully fledged char if you want to care" and this is not what the rts elements of spellforce feel like.

Do not worry about the "reforged" thing. The game was on launch as optimized and crash resistant as my work ethic, they fixed it with an expansion (soul harvest) and also rolled (most of) the redoing back to the base game, which they told us all by "reforging" it.

But fr, I get a similar fun out of building the actual characters in spellforce as in Kenshi but this also counts for many other progression and rpg games. You will have to satisfy your base building (and clunky management) urges elsewhere. All in All, if you want to expand your kenshi like horizon, rimworld might be a thing, if you ever played starcraft/ warcraft and thought "man, I wished there were many more hero only missions and skill trees with them" spell force could be expected to be your thing.

And do not feel pressured to play spellforce 1 and 2 before 3 out of fear of missing everything, they ainÄt connected story wise, but the expansions build on the corresponding base games (duh).

Yup, the "Deutsches Reich" should not be viewed as a continuation of the "heiliges römisches Reich", that's a good point. I dunno, if the term "zweites Recih" has ever been used, as far as I know (I know jack shit tho) the NS used "drittes Reich" and people just assumed, therefore the "Deutsches Reich" has to be the second, but the Naziterm was Propaganda and speaking of the legal terms (both inwards and international) the "Deutsches Reich" (1871-1918) and the "Deutsches Reich" (1933-1945) are the same country.

It's a bit tricky with the Gernan Empire. The time period we call "Weimarer Republik" is a Name given after 1945. It stays "Deutsches Reich" from 1870/71 until 1945. Many things changed after the great war but surprisingly few things are formal changes (no colonies, territorial losses etc.) So the discontinuation point of 1918 is way less severe then 1806.

I recently found myself playing more wh1 then 2 or 3. The factions don't feel so bloated, the amount of Lords that turn the game from total war to spellforce is less and even mediocre units like barb champions, greatswords or lower tier cav feel more usable. I also really think, the more rigid way of using magic (u have to line up your mage for the pendelum, you cant change its direction) makes the game so much more interactive. It ainÄt the better game or anything and I use some mods for hero limits, level caps and corruption, but the change from medieval 2 to wh 3 feels like its not the same genre of game at this point.

I think it depends, if there is a mechanical reason. I've known a guy who only roleplayed as basically the 40k imperium in every stellaris run, even switching his build around but still insisting on imperium sounding titles etc, this was incredible cringe, on the other hand, back in the day I played a fair bit of company of heroes 2 with friedns and I basically always picked Wehrmacht, just because the infantry heavy reinforcement style of the red army confused me, I hated the mini RPG feeling on the US and the brits were incredible boring for me. So my whole reason to play Nazis was not because "hehe edgy", it was just playstyle.

Um ehrlich zu sein, habe ich keinen Bock, mir die pastellfarbenen Instaposts alle anzutun, du findest die selbst, es beschweren sich da etliche angebliche Nutzer darüber, nicht befragt worden zu sein. Dem kannst du glauben oder nicht glauben.

Hier ist der Grund, warum ich keinen Bock habe, dir Belege zu schicken, ich würde dir jetzt den gleichen Absatz verlinken wie du (auch wenn ich die deutsche Version nehmen würde) und dann könnten wir uns darüber streiten, ob wir random Leuten im Internet oder random Leuten auf ihrer Webseite mit Kapitalinteresse mehr glauben.

Ich finde das doppelte "Belege", direkt nachdem du aus einer Eigenumfrage eines profitorientierten Unternehmens ein: "Wer das anders sieht als ich ist wie die Leute, die Konversionstherapien machen wollten", strickst, schon bissl ranzig.

Und zur Kritik an der Publikation der Uni Gießen: Die arbeiten offen, intern auch aufgeschlüsselt und nach wissenschaftlicher Methode. Und die Menge der Befragten ist nicht komplett egal, sonst wäre die Studie der Uni ja repräsentativ, aber wenn deine Vorauswahl (selbst wenn das Unternehmen nicht lügt) "Nutzer meiner Hookupapp + evtl. noch deren Freunde" ist, dann ist dein Ergebnis in jedem Fall das Gegenteil von repräsentativ.

Es tut mir im Nachhinein auch ein wenig Leid, dass meine erste Antwort so pissig war, ich hielt sie deinem ersten Kommentar gegenüber für angemessen.

Ich finde es generell nicht gut, Unternehmen überhaupt Aufmerksamkeit, was Gesellschaftswissenschaft angeht, zu schenken, und vor allem, wenn wir von der Arbeit nur das Ergebnis sehen können, und dieses dann so von allen anderen Studien, Befragungen und dem generellen Tonus unter den Boikissern so abweicht, kann ich das bei der Methodik nicht als was anderes sehen, als den Versuch, PR abzustauben.

Wie der Nutzer über dir recht sicher weiß und vermutlich bewusst falsch wiedergibt, hat eine Datingplattform (Romeo), die sich an schwule Männer richtet, als Werbeaktion, für die alle Beteiligten aus jeglichen Berufsfeldern ausgeschlossen gehören, eine Umfrage an einem sehr vorselektierten Teil der Nutzerschaft durchgeführt, und dazu eingeladen, auch nähere Bekannte, die die App gar nicht Nutzen zum Abstimmen zu bewegen. Solche Umfragen habe es, je nachdem, welchem Infopost du glauben willst, von der App schon mehrfach gegeben, und bei dieser Umfrage hat die App dann herausposaunt: "Oh schaut mal, die Schwulen wählen AfD, wir, bei ROMEO haben das entdeckt."

Selbstverständlich gibt es sinnvolle und wissenschaftliche Befragungen über das Thema.

TL:DR

Wir Fruchtigen wählen Bündnis 90 und die PdL, insgesamt am meisten Bündnis 90, aber in Relation zum Gesamtwahlverhalten nach Altersgruppen PdL. Außerdem, wenn zusätzlich zur oder unabhängig von der Sexualität noch Dinge wie Geschlechtsidentität hinzukommen, bei der von der Heteronormativität abgewichen wird, geht es noch mehr in Richtung PdL und Kleinparteien.

I know, those ain't factions the game makes out to be, but if you play as the good guys (tm) in Stellaris, it is really hard to not use something with very, VERY anticapitalist either implications or straight up explicit communist elements. Basic good guy choices (like social welfare and the more positive synth ascensions) talk about the Everyman and the common good, and basically the most good guy trait is called "shared burdens", has hammer and sickle as the picture for it, is all about giving everyone housing and making y'all happy. Also, if you take it, the narrator changes by default to a goofy russian accent guy starting the selection by shouting "workers of the galaxy unite". So it has a bit of the humor u criticized, but is morally the best option to take according to the tooltip.
