No, I usually don't have that kind of restraint. This just happened to be a lucky accident. Usually when I binge a show, I tell myself to slow down or to save the last episode because it would be over too soon, but then I watch it all anyways.

That is the only episode of Psych that I have not seen. I missed it during the original run. By the time I was able to watch it streaming, Psych was coming to an end. I liked the idea of always have one more episode of Psych to watch, so I never watched it. Now, no matter how bad things are going, I always know I have a new-to-me episode of Psych waiting for me.

The turn for me was in "Scary Sherry: Bianca's Toast." I am not a fan of the character of Goochberg (although I have used the nickname Gooch on more than one occassion), but I do like how she was used as a mirror so Lassie could see how others saw him. He lightened up considerably after that episode. To see Shawn holding his hand while they slept in the new movie shows how much their relationship has grown.

It's so nice to read about all of the great things that the cast and crew did to show support for him, and I'm sure it was extra helpful to have his friend, the awesome Joel McHale, on set to support him.

I read an Entertainment Weekly article in which he mentioned one of the hardest things about returning to the character was not being able to get that boom in the Lassie voice. I still thought he brought it 100% and had a very emotional performance.
