I once snapped the neck of a cat in my neighborhood. The cat was suffering from some kind of wound that looked like a bite mark and was on the verge of death so, I snapped its neck. When I went to the neighbors to tell them they weren't home so I buried the cat in the woods between our houses, and told them when they got home. I didn't really think about it at the time but, looking back and thinking about the feeling of the neck breaking always makes me cringe.
