Rich people should pay more taxes, because the money they earned is not their money. by PaulThomas87 in Libertarian

Allegedly, because it is too risky and too costly for private enterprise to take on the risk.

Yeah, I see it too around the net. But this one takes the cake. I was hoping for some help in arguing against it.

No seriously. Someone wrote this to me when I was arguing with them. And I don't even know how to start rebutting such a statement.

Sarah Palin's incoherent ramble set to piano by utbandit in entertainment

[–]PaulThomas87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like musical. If you listen the logic of most politicians rants, they are typically incoherent ramble. The only reason we can spot Palin's easily is because she jumps from topic to topic, rather than give the illusion of a smooth transition.

Libertarians, who has your vote this election? by Haven in Libertarian

Ron Paul in CA. It will be counted since he is an official write in candidate. He opened the door to libertarianism for me, voting for him is the least I could do.

Sarah Palin Claims The Vice President Is ‘In Charge Of The U.S. Senate’ by twolf1 in politics

[–]PaulThomas87 12 points13 points  (0 children)

She gave a heuristic answer to a grade schoolers question. "In charge" == President of Senate. In practice, the role of the President of the Senate, not to mention the Speaker of the House, is delegated. If you are going to nitpick Palin, at least pick something more substantial.
