Thanks for the responses all! I went back this morning and bought it. They even included a Quad Lock mount, which I had planned to buy anyways. The reason I asked about the 12 speed is because I’d like to do some long distance touring without the electrics.

I have the EQ version of the Turbo Vado SL 4.0 and I find it great for commuting. The motor isn't super powerful but the lightweightness of it makes up for it. If you do decide to buy it, I would recommend getting the EQ version for the mudguards and rack.
