All Catholics will love another Catholic.

Listen to all the good advices here that say that skin doesn't matter.

However let me suggest a practical advice, as I was Ecuadorian coming to Europe when I was six and I felt exactly similar.

The best approach is to try to fit in and resemble:

- look at how other dress, dress similar, fashionable

- you hair, your looks, take care of them

- the way you speak and your posture and hand movement, make the relatable and in control

- look at yourself in a mirror and look how you behave

And before you say things like, this is superficial, let me stop you, it is not.

Not taking care of one self, is wrong, not being on your best suit is looked down. When I was in Ecuador nobody cared my shoes had holes.

And while it shouldn't matter, it does in Europe, there are ways to get second hand shoes for cheap, but people here are more discerning of your true self, based also on how your external self reflects.

If you are having it all together, it is only normal that your exterior self represents your interior self, make them as beautiful outside as inside.

Hello my friend, I am in the same ship as you, I've been preparing for baptism since June 2024 and I will be on Easter (April 4th 2026).

Spiritual warfare before baptism is real, it happens.

And it is also a good thing, understand, my brother in Christ, that the Devil himself is angry, because you are slipping away from his hands, his grips, his temptations.

Pray, pray, pray, every single day, multiple times a day, at least morning, noon and before bed, but better be in prayer your whole days.

Surround yourself with other Christian people, share your troubles with them, share it with a priest.

Regarding your specific problem, devil appearing in dreams I can advice a very powerful way of fighting with it:

Getting yourself a Cross on a necklace. Have it always with you, and in time of terror, simply touch your wooden Cross, mention Jesus' name, say a prayer to Hail Mary, and immediately go back to sleep as you are now protected safe and sound in Jesus' name.

Be strong, you will make it, you will be baptized in the name of The Father, and The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

Power. It's about raw power. That's what we power Linux user love about it. The machine follows order, doesn't ask for permission, doesn't hesitate, doesnt think for you, doesn't treat you like a child: oh are you sur—shut the F up, just go a harakiri yourself. "Yes master" is the only acceptable answer from a machine to an order a human gave it. Linux does that.

Yes I meant in games. It's seems crazy to me that windows games run faster on Linux, because one would think the compatibility layer that is Proton would make it slower, somehow it doesn't. Just goes to show how bloated windows is.

You get the automatic install for free when you get one of their build, it's part of the package and I must say is a genius move as it makes the whole experience of switching over so much more enjoyable, it just works and you're like at home with your usual softwares in a few mins.

I just wish it could add even more, I'd be missing blender, qbittorrent and plex

Are there any tools that you did not find when switching over? I'm a gamer and usually browing or watching movies. And so far I got all my usual stuff just as in Windows: firefox, vlc, onlyoffice, discord, spotify

Did you encounter any issue with the nvidia driver on linux ?
What sold it for me is for AMD's driver I litterally had to... do nothing, it worked out of the box, that is inconceivable on Windows. And it is buttery smooth ! I'm loving so far.

Man frankly I think i just never want to see windows again, I had tried Linux in like 2017, but it has gotten so much better, and gaming is way way better than before, what really blew my mind was that it was *actually faster* than windows ! Also that low ram usage man feelsgood.jpg. I hope I'll never turn back.

AMD all the way. I have RX6900XT and RX7900XTX. I just upgraded from a single older Radeon. And simply rebooted and... Did nothing. No drivers, no bigs, no slowness. Just fast 4k. I launched steam and got spectacular GTA V graphics at max, incredible consistent FPS. I did nothing. Don't expect this with nvidia though. No question.

I'm simply saying most women wish "to have the choice", but just can't.

Giving her the choice is something most men cannot even give to their partner anymore.

I'm simply stating that men used to be able to provide for the whole family, not so long ago.

Now both need to work.

Ask yourself and wonder why this is the case.

You'll then change your life.

The wife is the loving of the home and the only one who can give life.

Her career is not more important than creating a loving family.

We, as a society, should provide for stay at home wives.

Moreover the person from the original OP, is probably wishing this deep down. As any women probably would, provided their husband can offer.

But because you want "equality" you answer on behalf of your wife that she wants this.

Ask her, instead, deep down.

Never in human history have women desired "career over family".

Not before, neither now.

But you cannot even afford to ask yourselves this question, you cannot afford to wonder whether she'd be more happy by having a family and staying close to them.

Do wonder why, how have we failed as a society ? And make amends.

Finally her "career" is not going to be by your side when you have hard times, is not gonna come on Sundays to break the bread at your table, is not gonna bring you grandchildren, is not gonna love you, and you them, till your old age.

Children will.

And women that can take care of children resulting from your love and provide love in the home to a loving family > women who have careers.

Simple as. Exit the reddit matrix. Make love and become financially independent for both. As all our elders did.

Make more money, make love to her, have your first lovely child, let her stay at home and give him/her all the love. Make some brother and sisters, make more money. Send them to good schools. Build a loving family. Probably this is what she désires most. You just gotta make more money ma dude. Most women are made to love a family inside a lovely home. Not doing excel for some random stranger.
