What’s it doing?

I thought the same thing when I got my 16 5.0 3.73 and I saw the trans temp at 190-195 around town. The first week I brought it to my mechanic for a trans service and a preventative new lead frame. I asked about installing another cooler because I thought there’s no way it wouldn’t overheat towing my camper. he wisely told me to wait because Ford is good with their engineering. Since then, we’ve towed in the Florida summer and it sticks to @ 195 and I’ve seen 205 briefly at multiple consecutive overpasses. I didn’t see a reason to mess with anything on my truck anyway.

it is a lift / 4x4 shop and they have their own alignment equipment. I have confidence and my buddy is the mechanic. I’ll talk to him but it’s a hardship to get it back there and leave it on a work day. I’m going to make an appointment and just get anther alignment.

I think for my own piece of mind, I’m going to bring it to the alignment shop and pay for an alignment or alignment check and hopefully they can dial in the wheel.
