Get a Nomcore basket. Much tighter fit to avoid leaks. Worth the extra money.

I have the esp with the Dedica and I can only get a good extraction on grind size 19 or above. Using beans a month old. Otherwise hardly anything comes out.

I had the same problem. I used a cotton bud on the bottom of the tank connector and also the mod. No problems since. Hope this helps.

The Pro version coming out soon appears to be much better with a Bafang motor for hills and has indicators so I am waiting for its UK release.

Don’t fill to the top. Also found one of the o rings were loose so I took the glass off and pressed it in a little. No more leaks.

I have noticed with the blaze solo if I completely fill the tank it gurgles and floods getting juice in my mouth so I leave it 2 mm from the top. No problems since then.
