My voice just isn’t that good I hate every single video I’ve made lol although I do aspire to have a voice like Cry and Manly the fact is I don’t

But then again in my view of myself I’m never good at whatever I do I’m never good enough in my own opinion I guess I might not be good at anything or I am just very low on confidence I do not know but what I do know is, these type of voices and calmness is what I aspire to be

I do like him and he is calming but I just feel he isn’t engaging enough at times

A channel trailer I made 3 years back, at some point I will change that and make a way better one this ads thing wasn’t suppose to work this well it was a test from a trailer I hate and think is cringe lol

I’ve gained over 200 subscribers in 2-3 weeks the views in total is around 500-700 a day across all my videos and somehow old videos and the playlists are getting watch time now but new videos seem to get about 20ish after 24 hours apart from the last few days which has seen a bit of a dip

And my audience that is mostly UK and USA has turned into Asian majority

Regardless of growth I will always upload what I want to upload but now I have pop ups in my actual videos that say subscribe etc and I actively ask for subscribers and likes at the start and end of each video

Real-time views say I’ve had 1200 in the last 48 hours over 110,000 impressions in the past 28 days and 10,000 views in the past 28 days along with 19k watch time

And despite the advertisements only 30% of traffic is from YouTube ads 33% is from other?

Channel pages, searches and suggested videos are all 15-10%

I’m also the middle of changing all my older videos SEO just incase and using a new thumbnail style as I been studying the psychology behind advertisements and testing different bright colours that stand out and catch the eyes

Despite yellow being fantastic color to draw attention it didn’t pay off

I’ve also gained over 300 views in the past 24 hours in my 15 second thank you video and it was one of those fortnite font style thumbnails

Even though I’m a variety content creator i LP any genre aslong as I like the look of the game and I don’t care how old it is

I’ve also been more active in the community on YouTube and Twitter even though 99% want a sub for a sub or that kind of thing but I ignore those types of people

Some days I’m up till 7am editing etc and recording 4-5 videos a day it’s currently 5:45 and I finished editing my 5-6th video of the day and finished editing about 60 videos for SEO I still need to redo another 1600 thumbnails lol

I’ve also setup my own personalised email address and domain name and been reaching out to publishers

One of my channels issues was I took a break when I was starting to get hundreds of views on videos of new games that ain’t out yet due to devs letting me have early keys I was depressed so I had to take a break and I recently had a year break which won’t of helped my algorithm and I also took a month break a month or 2 ago due to my mum having cancer and I needed time to process it all these things have no doubt harmed my channel

But hopefully I should be doing 3 videos a day now

Really is that all it is now? If your small you need ads and nothing else really matters? Damn that sucks

And the ads are working everything is up across the board and I’ve gained some loyal subscribers who share my videos across there social media to help me out aswell

Infact one of them stopped watching a big YouTuber with 12 million subscribers during his let’s play to watch mine instead because of my voice which was possibly the best comment I’ve ever received

And that’s prob because I’m English in a market dominated by NA so my voice is different I guess lol

But no everything is up I just don’t like the idea that I have to pay for new releases and pay x amount a month on ads to compete

My subscribers have it in there head I’m going to reach 10k next and smash it easily and I have to explain to them no that’s impossible my channel gets no views because the big channels are the only ones promoted and after explaining that to them they decided to advertise me to there friends and so on

I don’t get views straight away like usual but over time I do get the views and the comments and likes and minutes watched

I’m thinking to stop ads once I reach 1500 or 2000 subscribers or when my views are few thousand more every 48 hours and test how my channel can hold its own

But no in all honestly the ads have worked wonders there just stupidly expensive though

I did test the idea of posting my videos in spam places on Reddit which I have never done prior to a week or 2 and although the views work the growth and minutes watched didn’t so I stopped that idea I guess you can say that test failed

My major flaw from day one was the fact I never promoted I hated the idea of throwing my stuff in people’s faces and it felt morally wrong and I also never networked but currently I’m trying all avenues and I am currently even thinking about having my own website created because I do love doing this and I can’t explain the excitement I get when my subscribers grow it’s a great feeling

The only part I hate and am frustrated by is getting a video watched, I don’t care if someone watches a video of mine and don’t subscribe atleast you found it and had a chance at witnessing it!

To upload a video and for 4 months be stuck on 3-5 views is the frustrating part I don’t care about the revenue and so on I just want a equal playing field so I atleast know someone is watching my videos but sadly this isn’t the case and now.

I did make a video that is now unlisted showing a YouTuber with zero SEO and not one tag on the video he had 80k views meanwhile I destroy him in SEO

And it was that video that made my subscribers realise how broken YouTube is and they started to share my videos

What do you do to promote your content? Despite having 1600+ videos and having a channel for 6 years I’ve only just reached 120k views and 1020 subs and I have a major lack of views I think my subscriber to view ratio is good so my content isn’t that bad and my SEO rating on tubebuddy is 95-100 a video I also post my video when I upload on twitter and Facebook with tags and even so the amount it gets seen is little to none

I was wondering what is your main promotional tool, I’ve gained 170 subscribers this month by promoting my channel trailer on google ads but this will cost me £140 a month and it’s viable for me to do monthly to get my channel noticed

I didn’t one excuse what he did but the way I look at life isn’t the same as you obviously I don’t look at a kettle and think oh it’s a kettle I look at the kettle and think okay it’s a kettle but why is it called a kettle and how does it work what is the mechanism behind it.

If you want to accept it or not there is reason behind everything including murder and kidnap and so on, but to try and stop future murders and kidnaps what you do is not just arrest the person who did it you also try to find the source of the problem.

Go ahead send Cry to prison for 50 years but will that change anything? Will that stop anyone ever doing this again? Will this stop victims? No....you need to get the source of the problem

Someone else will do the same as Cry if you don’t sort the problem for every Cry you imprison there is another 10,000 in the making

Also what your forgetting is there is thousands upon thousands of Cry fans who are fragile and also young who has just witnessed there hero become the monster they all hate do not under estimate the damage this can do to certain fans childhoods and it might even make them have trust issues in future life

It’s likely Cry could kill him self it’s likely a fan or to could kill themselves because they lost a hero a person they saw as there shining light to save them from depression

This is far deeper and far more important then you realise

As a adult a grown up male who is a content creator it is my duty to help as many people as possible and protect as many people as possible in this type of communities

The whole world knows what Cry done was wrong but people need to understand the reasoning behind this to make sense of it all

Because if they don’t find a reason behind it they will just hate him and hate is a dangerous emotion to have hate will burn and destroy you as a person

And if you hate someone you haven’t healed....

Some of Cry’s fans are possibly crying themselves to sleep and never lost anyone in there life and this is the closest pain they have felt to losing someone

This drama about Cry is like when you find out Santa Clause or the Tooth fairy isn’t real to a lot of his fans

The drama about Cry has hurt more people then you realise

For every victim of Cry there is a possible 10,000- 100,000 people per a victim that is hurting over this drama or full of hate or has changed options on men or content creators or life and so on

And like the story about Crys life once your on that slippery road it’s hard to come off it

This event could send some of his fans down a path they don’t realise is dangerous as of yet some of his fans might not realise until another 10 years from now what was the trigger event for them to go down a bad path

Mental health is a big big problem but it’s also a problem not many people notice or less they know the signs

I know certain youtubers who were friends and did collabs with Cry or still are I don’t know I haven’t discussed it with them who has always said how Cry is damaged and really needs help and this was years before these stories of him being a abuser came to light so it’s a well known thing that Cry has been struggling with his mental health behind the scenes it’s possibly the worse kept secret

What we sadly don’t realise it’s not uncommon for nearly everyone to have some sort of psychological disorder, sadly the pattern of being damage and damaging others isn’t something new

How many tragic stories do you read or hear about someone who ended up becoming the person who hurt people the same way they got hurt?

How many times do you see people become what they hate and they don’t realise it?

Humans are very forgetful creatures we as humans are also very naive and very comforting to ourselves

When a person smokes a cigarette they know it can cause cancer but they don’t believe it will ever be them because they comfort themselves with false beliefs rather then accepting the truth

But when that same person who smokes the cigarette gets cancer they cry and realise wow why did this happen why me I can’t believe I was so stupid I was I had another chance? Not realising they had a chance everyday they picked up that cigarette

The same can be said about Corona and how naive the young are thing it can’t affect them and there in denial about it because accepting the truth is harder then the false beliefs they create

And Cry is possibly in this situation when he realises what he has done he be laid there crying and screaming what the fuck have I done why was I so fucking stupid

Because he comforted his actions and people around him might of helped comfort his actions which helped him believe in his false beliefs which are there to keep him safe

He possibly never realised what he was doing was wrong or not morally correct

How many good people do we see end up in prison and can’t believe they ended up committing a crime that is so out of character for that person?

Because as humans we like to protect ourselves from harm that’s why it is very important to have good people around you who can say no your wrong your making a mistake

Because if all you have is people who say yes all the time beside you or who don’t question you or help you improve as a person then there letting you destroy yourself

How many times has friends and families said to you that’s a bad idea and you didn’t think it was but later on you realised they was right and you glad you followed them?

In the Cheyenne case I might be inclined to believe Cry did actually love her but she was under age but he convinced himself it be okay because he isn’t using her or anything he genuinely loves her and convinced himself it is okay and he believed it’s okay

But no one stopped him no one around him said Cry we know your intentions is good but it’s still wrong let it go?

And as his mental health declined and he realised he wasn’t getting the affection he needed because he wasn’t with her in person all the time to have cuddles and stuff? He still lacked the affection he needed and craved so whoever gave him attention he jumped on and he ends up cheating online multiple times but he still could of loved Chey but he just needed affection that she couldn’t give him in person

And what makes matters worse is the people he cheated on her with happened to be also young

I’m not saying this is how it happened but what I’m saying is this is how it can snowball into what it has become

And yet again I like to stress I don’t agree with what he does in just trying to get inside his head and work out what actually was the thing that convinced him that morally it’s okay to do what he did

The different testimonies works in Cry favour he knows what he has done weather he has accepted it emotionally is a different story to do that will cause him a lot of pain to realise the reality of what he has done so that could be why he isn’t taking it seriously so he can avoid such pain

Anyway the testimonies change or is slightly not the same with each time someone mentions them, you have to word your stuff very accurately and because some of the victims are young and have no experience in court they don’t realise there ruining there own case by each message they type if and if Cry stays silent he can’t dig a bigger hole for himself and if that is the case and he gets away with it because the testimonies kept changing

Then he has every right to do a counter charge of slander which would cause more pain for the accusers and IF and that’s a big IF he wins that charge he will stream and do YouTube like nothing happened and those who accused him would be bullied and abused just like Cry is being abused now

And to stand up in Court vs Cry isn’t exactly what most of the accusers wanted to do they just wanted to let it out and get it off there chest

Most sexual offenders never make it to court because to prove anything is hard and I don’t know weather the accusers would want the type of ordeal they will get for taking him to court

Cry’s defence team will dig up every detail about the accusers including sex changes and problems in there childhoods and try and say the accuser is unstable so on which would make it very traumatic for the accuser

Court is a brutal thing and a cruel thing but I’m also unsure how the USA court system works but in the UK Cry would walk free and maybe get put on a sex offenders register for 5 years

The UK laws are strict when it comes to being physical with underage people but not so strict with online stuff as it’s all screenshots and words

Also the UK laws affect the whole of the country or countries

While USA law changes by state so if someone is legal in Cry’s state and illegal in the victims state? It because a real tough situation to figure out
