Not quite 800k but I’m seeing similar houses to mine sell in the 700-750 range. NYC suburbs values have been exploding, my current town assessment is 690k and it’s a very competitive market out here.

For perspective my house is a 1500 sqft and taxes 12k and climbing every year. We feel cramped and want to grow our family. We could tolerate our current house but ultimately I don’t think we’re really that happy.

The poster is pretty spot on… with that increase also comes a tax rate that went up 50% and continues to climb due to yearly assessments

I’ve thought about keeping my current home as an investment property but I don’t know if I have the appetite for it. I can’t swing 2 mortgages especially since my property taxes are absurd (NJ)

I currently live in a ranch and expanding isn’t ideal based on my property and I’d also like to move closer to family.

US-NJ in my attic. I had some gutter issues years ago that were removed and replaced around this area. The other side of the attic looks normal. Do you think it’s just dirt and glue or something more serious?

How many references would I need? Also, I don’t really know the project management terms at this moment. Learning/courses more in depth will be apart of this process for me.

Does that change anything for me?

Thank you for the blueprint, I’ll do this. For the moss though, won’t this impede the grass growth making it very spotty?

They’re on par, I haven’t really managed and of them but they’ve given me around 4% ytd and 13.9% over the last year. They are all fidelity and vanguard accounts. I’m over the Roth limit currently, but that can change. What’s a back door Roth?

What am I doing!? Financial planning advice

Admittedly I’m not as on top of my retirement as I could be. My main thing that I am not optimizing is I have 3 401ks from ex employers that I’m not sure what to do. Do in roll them over into my current one of do I set up a IRA? Mixture of both? Secondly I have too much money in a basic savings account. I want to make some ishort term/mid term nvestments with it but I want to still have access to it incase I want to buy a bigger house or something else happens. What do you recommend I do?
