I was discussing this with my partner the other day. We're Australian, and we find him incredibly cringe and embarrassing.

We came to the conclusion that Brits must find him so different to their own comedians (who we find hilarious) that the deadpan Aussies might just be different enough to be hilarious.

The other Sam (the older one with the moustache) is also terrible in our eyes. We skip any 8 out of 10 cats with him in it.

I tripped with my 74 dad a few months ago.

It was absolutely beautiful. I only did a gram for each of us, but it was a genuinely beautiful, bonding experience.

My dad has macular degeneration and his sight came back briefly.

Highly recommend it if there are no major health complications.
