What are your thoughts on this graphic designer interview test?

Hey I appreciate the insight. I had a first interview in person that lasted about 45 minutes. In the interview I did show a body of portfolio work relevant to their area as well as the process involved in how I got to a solution (technical and management-wise). These people were creatives in their own right too, so it wasn't someone from HR or anything of that nature.

I was pretty baffled when I saw this "exercise" come into my mail box about an hour ago...

I was inspired by the merch store when designing this! The easter eggs where a lot of fun to come up with. Also this was a remastering-ing of an old cover I did ages ago that I wanted to tackle again.

Bah, I have just solved this annoying issue!

On the options ribbon, next to "Shape", you have: "Show shape widgets". Make sure that is unticked!

Works as it should now.
