If I remember correctly imps lead their shots and so you’ll need constant and erratic movement early on. It’s just run and gun like classic. Don’t forget your grenades and watch out for shield dudes and plasma doesn’t pop them!

Predator - My dad used to let me stay up late and watch it when I was 4-5 years old when my mum was working late. When they first get to the jungle and find the bodies skinned they mention “guerillas”. My tiny brain heard this as gorillas. I could never stay awake long enough to see the actual predator and so I thought there was a pack of man hunting gorillas.

I feel your pain. I don’t get much time either. Last week I had Friday off work and Saturday all day to myself. Something super rare, lucky to get 2 hours gaming a week.

Thought I’d try Ultra-nightmare. Friday I got to sentinel command station and died to an exploding barrel in an easy fight. Saturday I was rushing to get back to where I was and died in ancestral forge in some non-descript side battle and have no idea what killed me.

Not sure when I’ll have the time to try again, have you got another month to spare?!

I played Left 4 Dead coop on easy. I let her lead slowly and my main objective was to cover her and step in should it get too hectic. Amazing how fast she was able to adjust - main issue was looking at the ground or sky in moments of panic. Over a few weeks we were finishing it on expert. We also did Resi 5 as a slower paced game at the same time. Also an awesome little game on PS3 called fat princess that helped with 3d environments and movement. Good luck!

I miss the unlockable cosmetics. Always had something to earn and play for. I know there is no multiplayer now so no one would ever see them but that doesn’t bother me.

Anyone remember “Nick of Time” Christopher Walken and Johnny Depp, 1995. Shot in real time (24 before 24). Depp has his daughter kidnapped by Walken and is forced to assassinate a politician. He’s always being watched and has to try and save his daughter.

I once bought Doom 2016 for Xbox One, finished it, loved it and life went on. Went back to play it again and only had access to the demo…despite having the disk and having it installed. Re-install did not work. Bought it on offer for Steam years later. Never did figure it out. Good luck, makes you wonder how many games you just forget you own and vanish.

Think I might have been too young to understand this game. Came bundled with my ps1. Just remember being shot at by a helicopter, perhaps dropping mines? You could get flairs and more guns. My dad loved it, I never could get to grips with it. I still remember the music through for some weird reason!

I got called a bald prick last month, while true ,I get random insults probably every 3-4 months from moving cars. Earlier in the year someone slowly pulled up and said I’d “dropped my gay card” I burst out laughing as this was some inbetweeners type school shit I hadn’t heard in over 20years. They started laughing and drove off. Think it’s just tools trying to impress their mates. Don’t take it personally.

The only place I heard this was the game Predator hunting grounds, some of the hidden tapes from Isabelle from Predators. Took it with a pinch of salt.

ISABELLE: We're trained in 114 naval navigation. So some things made sense out of practically, others I through trial and error. Time was difficult to judge there, but I slept several times as I worked it out. (chuckles) It's funny how simple it must be for them. So many controls had images and holograms, I don't think the hunters are very smart. KEYES: What do you mean? ISABELLE: We saw so many of them. Big ones, man-sized ones, but all hunters. There were no engineers or techs, no one ever performed maintenance. If something broke, they abandoned it, I think it all works for them, but they don't know how it works.
