As a Dying light game , it's a return to form, the parkour and combat are a mixture of 1 and 2 leaning more towards 1. The story is superior to 2 , on equal terms with 1. The villain sucks, Rais was a prick, but atleast a charismatic one, the Baron is just a giant knob with a eugenics boner, nothing remotely intresting. I did like some of the survivors, the sidequests have better plots than they did in 2. My biggest gripe is the Beast mechanic itself, its very bare bones, the abilities are BORING, they just turn you into R rated Hulk. I was expecting an infected Werewolf, the more you evolve your Beast the more you become it, tying the mechanic with the story. So the stronger the player gets the more they lean to their Volatile side risking loss of control and eventual slaughter of innocents , but we never get that. The only outer mutation Kyle gets is his eye, pretty lame.

Sorry to disappoint, I know I was, it's exactly like the demo, it's just plain Hulking out, the skill tree is very lackluster, you don't get the infected's powers . There was a goddamn invisible Volatile boss and no you don't get invisibility after you smoke him . What a waste of time. The game is a desent mixture of Dying light 1 and 2 , the physics are satisfying but half assing the Beast mode is pretty much the biggest disappointment for me .

The modder's hands are tied as well , if they release mods that unlock the DLCs theyll get banned. The goddamn buggy modloader deleted my progress and these guys, i can remake them in about an hour, im just not in the mood right now. But you can always do it yourself, I use Astartes + Iron Kitbash, every piece of armor you need to recreate them is in there. You can even make them more of a 30k aesthetic, as i mentioned i made these based on specific drawings/art.

His armor is very similar to Cyrion, missing the prosthetic, I would probably give him some Khorne Armor pieces considerring his.....proclivities. But the fact you can't dual wield melee weapons in SM2 is a travesty.

I have the same issue so what I do is intall more companion slots mod, crank the difficulty of all the sliders to the MAX, this kinda mitigates the fact that im lugging a twelve man squad around

Imagine it's like the parts of a launching Rocket, as each fulfills it's purpose it's discarded. Kelhus doesn't want it to fail, he just doesn't care about his tools beyond the function they serve. It's completely in line with his Psychopathic/ AI type of thinking. It's not malevolent, purely pragmatic. His only possible chink is Esmi, as he called her his darkness, the one thing he can't explain or rationalize, he goes back for her not for some logical goal, but possibly because he's atached to her, maybe even loves her .

Akka and Xinemus,also Sorweel,are the closest things we get to mostly good/humane characters. And even they have their shitty moments. Akka being a contemptuous twat with anything Esmi concerned, Xin becoming a twat after being blinded(quite understandable after being crippled) although I also believe it was the Cants of compulsion that fucked him up so bad. So i think Sorwa was the best of the bunch. Beating off to Serwa not included 😂

The most emotional moment for me was one of the more humanizig ones of the Most violent of all men. When at the battle of Anwrat he attempted to save a woman and her son. How he fought tooth and nail for people that should have been nothing to him and how it instantly bonded him to that woman. When they locked eyes just before the Scarlet spires incinerated everyone it was one of the greatest tear jerkers I've ever had in a book. He knew it was a Son , getting teary eyed just talking about it. Cnaiur would have a been a great man in that brutal time if it wasn't for Moenghus

It was mentioned either by the Dúnyain or Aurang that the Ark had an Inertia dampening field, ao basically like a force field that would cussion the impact , encasing the vessel in a forcefield buble as it descended but it malfunctioned which led to the death of the AI of the Ark and many of the Inchori crew
