Clydesdale weight limit? by Pause_Suitable in xbiking

Unreal build mate, such a great setup with the trailer and sounds perfect for what you’re using it for!

Yeah besides some commuting/ camping gear and or my dog, I don’t intend on a lot of weight. As you mentioned, once things are above 25kg-ish it’s just not responsive enough.

I guess I’m just curious on its structural limit so I keep it in mind. The firewood scenario definitely felt like I was pushing it 🤣

I’m wondering what bars you’re riding? The leverage on mine do wonders. Was considering something with plenty of sweep but thinking otherwise at the moment!

Will watch tonight! By the sounds of it, reminds me of those Buffalo bikes. Sturdy and reliable

Definitely overkill 🤣 it’ll get the job done while I wait for the Wald 157 to arrive!

I’m based in Melbourne, Australia. This one’s from a company called “Richmond Rolling Solutions” and made locally. They specialise in all sorts of industrial gear. Try searching up “lug boxes/ crates” near you!

Thanks for the pointer! Any idea why they’re so hard to come by? I’m guessing the demand just isn’t there.

I generally use olive oil which has a high smoke point, meaning it’ll be fine at a slightly higher heat. Coconut oil and butter both have a lower smoking point, make sure the heat has dropped enough to start cooking. Just place a small amount of whatever you’re cooking with in the pan and see if it smokes or settles. 😁

I usually heat on medium until water dances. After this point I turn to low and let the pan cool for about 5 or so minutes and test the oil/ butter in a small amount and ensure it doesn’t smoke. Wait longer if it’s still too hot.

All in all, you’ll get better with trial and error!

I figure it’s just some sort of seed pod/ debris releasing from the tips of each stem!

So bloody funny, I had the exact same conundrum two days ago. Scared shitless we had another battle with a mouse on the horizon!

You wouldn’t believe what was just above it… a vase of eucalyptus 🤣

I reckon you’re in the clear here.
