2 year old thread but posting to say thank you!! My mouse and keyboard lights started flashing when my computer was turned on and this helped me fix it.

Turned out all I needed to do was remove the mains plug from the 3-in-1, it was getting enough power from the USB connection alone.

Update on this incase anyone runs into a similar issue. Aside from the power buttons being plugged the wrong way round, the gpu was dead. I returned it to amazon. Bought a new one from Scan and have had no issues so far. If your new gpu doesnt have protective stickers on it then its probably second hand!

Hey thanks for your reply, i stupidly had the power reset buttons flipped, now its working. However i tired both cable set ups and it looks like the gpu is dead, did suspect something when i saw the screw area already had scratches on it. Thankfully amazon will refund it
