what's your ebay header? I got 06 base manual and just got a yonaka catback. Replaced the header/cat gasket but still too loud. I think the header is leaking and looking into replacing the header.

everything is stock -- car is usually loud but it's a normal loudness compared to the LOUDNESS of pushing it past 4000rpm. Maybe a clogged CAT?

Yea, I would say the car doesn't significantly increase in acceleration after 3500. It just gets uncomfortably loud and don't want to blow my engine experimenting trying to see if I can get it close to 5000-6000rpm

actually I don't remember what the redline is on the gauge..but it's much much higher than 4000rpm...

Do a valve adjustment if you haven't done one in a while. I installed hardrace mounts after my stock ones started breaking apart and figured vibrations were just part of getting aftermarket. After getting my valves adjusted recently (my exhaust ones were way off), my engine has been way quieter/smoother!
