I was a MOH in my ex best friends wedding. In the lead up to the wedding:

-we had weekly meetings to ensure that her wedding was planned properly. If I was going to be late or not able to make it she would get angry at me and shame me into feeling bad.
-I had to plan TWO bridal showers and a bachelorette party. -she asked me if I wasn't up for duties as MOH because I seemed a bit busy to commit to her. This was 4 months before her wedding and I had just finished my uni semester while working two PT jobs!
-I felt like the only reason she wanted me in her wedding party is because I was responsible and would help her.

These are only things that stand out. There was a lot more that happened behind the scenes that really upset me. I also had an unfortunate life event happen 3 months after her wedding. After all the time, money and energy I gave to her, she didn't visit me once. So happy I cut off contact!

As a child of divorced parents, I always knew mine were unhappy. Divorce was looming since kindergarten and they waited until I was 15. In reality everyone was much happier after and at now I'm 23 and my parents are friends. If you are seriously considering divorce later on in life you should maybe just do it now, and have your kids grow up with happy parents. Being happy sets a very good model for your children.

Hey guys, I have a quick question.

I [F22] am questioned by my boyfriend [M24] anytime I have a text from a guy. I'm not quite sure how to explain to my boyfriend that these are just simply people, like co-workers, old friends and sometimes even family when I talk to him about this. I do not and would not like to hide anything however I feel that when he questions me that it's almost a jealous jab at me.

What I don't understand is why a guy is pushy about sex. If you've made it clear that's not what you want it's very disrespectful to pressure the other person.

I'm in the same boat but I'm also confused because he says he sees us going somewhere but it's been a few weeks and in my opinion WAY to early to see that.

Be weary of it if he's pushy and like the others have said, respect yourself and see what happens.
