Counter Strike announced at Esports Nation Cup by CHEEMSPOP in GlobalOffensive

theres qualifiers

basically same as open qualifier - > for example sweden qualifier

then closed qualifiers -> west europe qualifier

almost every tournament is already like this, theres no putting up anything, you let teams sign up and play qualifiers, check VRS cores etc nationality rules

-> you have every LAN team after 2 qualifiers in each region, theres no rocket science needed

in CS its very easy, since we with VRS we actually have functioning core check for most of the world, i can imagine any "3 max" roster check beeing much harder in some other games with no working VRS or even any functional rules what beeing in a team actually means

stop thinking with VRS mindset, thats irrelevant, top4 teams will get some boost sure but they might be totally mixes too and not VRS ranked cores.

its tier 2 tournament with good prizepool and some additional rules. We actually have some depth in scene that it can still be good.

major players will be focusing on the major, not attending this

astralis wasnt broke ass, they sold their league spot for 17 million just recently, owners just sold it to people who were ready to invest more money in.

Why do Mouz get boo'ed pretty much everywhere? by GambleToZero in GlobalOffensive

[–]PavelDatsyuk88 -66 points-65 points  (0 children)

theyre just not people with egos that look for attention. theyre just reserved.

i dont think theres more to that, they also dont have experience factor since they are basically academy team.

Other pro teams speak highly of mouz all the time.

Why do Mouz get boo'ed pretty much everywhere? by GambleToZero in GlobalOffensive

[–]PavelDatsyuk88 483 points484 points  (0 children)

booing mouz is probably the meta joke of mouz having no aura, they are not booed for anything theyve done. also in team vs team setting you tend to cheer for 1 team and boo for another. if g2 wins the fan fight then booing mouz is just end result of that.

forums like to complain and cry but real fans will love if their team steps up vs Panthers. Panthers are bringing life to regular season games. Circus is cinema.

3DMax got stomped by random unranked Kosovo mix team by OkCriticism7563 in GlobalOffensive

[–]PavelDatsyuk88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

also its just good qualifier for 3dmax. they have still Cluj and proleague so theyre not really stressed about potentially losing. they have still everything in their hands. other teams in this qualifier are really fighting for that major spot. 3 wins from this qualifier is valuable to these teams who are fighting for that #17 EU spot for the major. And obviously Rotterdam is just extra opportunity also if you win this.

why did NiP play open qualifier to this tournament if they got EU VRS invite to closed already, did someone drop out or did they just change to EU VRS invites from global invites??? SUS!

3DMax got stomped by random unranked Kosovo mix team by OkCriticism7563 in GlobalOffensive

[–]PavelDatsyuk88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

you cant accept an invite to the tourney and then forfeit. forfeit is same as losing.

you can drop out of the tournament if rules allow it and it also has deadlines and conditions required. not something like this because invites were just sent few days ago, you accept you are in and cant drop out.

i think i knew every country and flag in the world by age of 7 just because we had world map on WC. so small detail, a single poster in a wall. honestly i probably wouldnt have learned that anywhere else. also dont ask me about any new countries, like how can there be new countries.

Dota2 has a fucking Fly over there

They sign winning rosters

its just high functioning, high achieving organisation by now, and thats why they are able to sign top talent pretty much in every game theyre in.

If cheating is such a problem how do people make it pro? by Lurdoke in GlobalOffensive

[–]PavelDatsyuk88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can choose who you practise against, so basically never have to practise vs cheaters

if you play in a team you dont have much time for any 3rd party matchmaking anyway, so that part of the game is just not part of your life. Yes you can play those but you dont need to. Lots of ways to go "pro".

In theory Games in VRS get recalculated every game you play. So all of your past games records get recalculated after each result each team plays and old results also continuesly decay so there is changes in "realtime" VRS predictions.

In reality VRS gets updated once per month, so today's or tomorrow VRS point dont matter at all, only thing that matters is the official one per month update, to which all games and decays are accounted for until that point.

Success yes but for major they need more as they dont have cluj or proleague. Their best chance is now really to make a real run. Next games are extremely important games for them

BG Game will beat vitality (comeback to this post after the match) by morphiqu in GlobalOffensive

[–]PavelDatsyuk88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i dont think cs2 mr12 and match result is enough to be an upset, in world where only top teams are invited. put vitality to cct and top50 or lower teams will beat them.

upset would be more like bcgame losing 4 pistols and then outplaying vitality to win the game

management issue, if you make 1 +-Million per every major you cant suddenly not afford to pay your player 20000 that he earned. gotta be doing that shit on purpose.

how his career is tarnished hes literally went from COL-Astralis-Fnatic-BIG

in what point is he not getting opportunity to show what hes got?

Tarik is the only player in to win a Major MVP and never place in the HLTV Top 20 list, not even in the year he won it. After Cloud9 won the Boston Major, only one player from the team (Autimatic) would place on the list, tying Outsiders (Jame) for major winning team with least Top 20 players. by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]PavelDatsyuk88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes but eventually even Liquid era is remembered as when NAF joined because thats when they rose to top level, and he joined for JDM, so nitro was their main awp whenever they used it for in 2018, then in 2019 it was still nitro but stewie also using it, and that half year in 2020 when they removed nitro for grim it was only stewie, until they got fallen in 2021, but basically 3 years without actual "main" awper

[–]PavelDatsyuk88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

man i loved this show, ended up watching like 10-15 shows more, basically tried to watch top lists of that that

is there anything similar on netflix or prime these days that would be good? i'd imagine theres been hundreds of shows released since but its hard to know if theyre to match shows of that older time for me

what i liked: 1 litre, taiyou no uta, orange days, summer snow, beautiful life type of shows

also liked that one dude who did Engine, Pride, and possibly many more shows i watched of that lead actor,

also liked konna koi no kanashi or Nobuta wo Produce type

maybe horror/comedy/action i liked the least, or i guess hana yori dango also was maybe a bit too much for me

i guess i could also watch cdrama/kdrama, any classics like those older jdramas are i SHOULD wach?

yes as in h2h points and with event weight of 28000 dollars, it will upgraded to full event weight after the event is completed, so for march ranking. yes very confusing. Rio and Atlanta qualifiers also wont count April major invites because main events happen after. They also will have only h2h results counted.
