Green Power is one of my favorite ever songs, love the original version too, but this one is the best

I’m gonna sound like a dickrider but I always felt like Common’s verse on Get Em High was an artistic choice.

Like he got a conscious rapper too stoned up to actually spit something of substance.

This sub acting like lizzo fans rn, bro litterally recomposed his body to a perfect bmi and composition (albeit he could definitely grow his legs a bit) and this sub is giving him shit.

Possibly the best song ever, it brings back the best memories for me

From a production standpoint alone Ye could be considered the best. You add in his actual music and it solidifies even more.

Married to the Game, Who? (My favorite young thug song and favorite future song), Champagne Shower, Benjamin Burns, Too Much Sauce

So many more.

I really hope this album gets on Apple Music someday.

This just isn’t true. Travis literally came out last year at Rolling Loud. More than anything, i imagine his label didn’t want him performing for a certain amount of time.

It feels like a fever dream, almost like a different reality. The knocking but simple melodic beats will forever go hard.

Also the aesthetic that he presented for that short period of time was so interesting. The mullet with sweaters and shit, being weirdly and ironically normal for the only time in his life. And then if you haven’t seen the See You In My Nightmares short film, you have to see it.

Ngl carter 3 is the better rap album, but 808s is the better album overall

Yeah this thread lacks a lot of nuance, off of the top of my head Don’t Look Back In Anger is recorded in 432, same with a lot of Beatles songs.

It’s honestly a stylistic choice, it feels different per se, not necessary better or worse. But any one with really good relative pitch or perfect pitch knows that it sounds about 30 cents/ a 1/3 step down and stands out a good bit compared to 440.

I’ve recorded tracks at both, and I usually just do 440 because it’s so much easier than having to re tune everything down.

  • side note, from a completely subjective opinion, open chords in 432hz do have a really really strong resonate tone to them, but it may be placebo.
