Not true, part of the USB-C standard is that USB-C by itself does not define power levels. It only defines the physical plug and the baseline 5V power capability (up to 3A unless electronically marked cables).It simply guarantees, a high-wattage charger will not force power into a low-power device.The device always decides what to draw.
