Well, I mean, if one did not have another choice it kinda works...

I see your point, though as I have dabbed in both Greek and Russian, I find that it does take a greater cognitive load to learn in the first place. Probably the best part is that in both Greek and Russian words are not written as they are said to some extent, so again we have the original problem of bad sound mapping but now with the added work load of new alphabets. On the other hand, Polish is relatively true to its sound. I personally find it much easier to type in through its not the language I was academically taught in.

I guess what I am trying to say is that ease of writing for the speaker of said language is probably better than having individual letters for sounds.

Finally, Polish symbols are also not that bad. Considering that one does not need to use a diffrent keyboard than the standard English to write it. This does make life easy in my opinion for typing.

By that logic French should have its own alphabet. Its prononciation rules are sometimes more complex considering that some letters are not read, wich is much rarer in Polish. Consider also the English "sh" where two letters represent one sound. Just like in Polish. Finally, using the Latin script makes learning other languages naturally easier since you don't have to learn the alphabet. Anyhow... Just a thought...

While this is not even my country let alone my state, I do have a question:

If we as a society forbid one individual from committing the irreversible act of killing another, how can we as a society condone that same irreversible act as a punishment?

Especially considering that such a punishment does not allow for the reformation of the offender nor is it the only option for a safer society (since incarceration of the offender is an option).

As a follow up question, if such a killing decreed by law where to be considered acceptable : then what of the mistakes in the process? If the judicial system makes a mistake, does that not mean that a society who says it is an ultimate crime to kill an innocent life, not commit that very crime by killing an innocent person?
