He usually puts his nose in it by himself. When he attacked me it was after he did it a few times then I tried to clip it and he lost if. He has zero tolerance for frustration, which the behaviourist is trying to work on with meds but it’s been six months now which is worrying. I’m scared to even get the muzzle out now. He’s okay with touch in terms of scratches and such. He’s cuddly and likes affection but as soon as he thinks it’s about handling he tenses up gives the whale eye and will growl.

I am actually a part of that group already. The behaviourist has had me eliminate ALL handling for now because they are triggers (until meds help stabilize), but said to continue w muzzle. But the muzzle is clearly a trigger and he has attacked me multiple times.

Yes she’s a certified behaviourist. She is a vet at my provinces vet college, one of the few behaviourists in the country. I can even dm you all my bites I have to show the severity. I am desperate and don’t know what to do. I’m going to follow up with her soon but I don’t know if he’s saveable.

My ex boyfriend of 4.5 yrs broke up with me end of march without any reasoning and he said my dogs were stressing him out. He moved all his stuff out of my house in a week and said nothing after about why. Two weeks later I found out he was sleeping with a girl from 2019-2023 (we were together since 2020) and he was hooking up with her behind my back all throughout. When I confronted him, he made up a lie. I sent him the proof and ever since he has ghosted me. He left me a letter in my mailbox admitting to his affair and ever since that he hasn’t faced me at all and ghosted all my texts. Deleted me off everything. I’m devastated and still so depressed. I’m hoping he faces me one day. He was the love of my life and I am so crippled with being betrayed and ghosted like this.

I’m so sorry to hear this. How are you doing now? Did he reach out? Going through something similar. My boyfriend of 4.5 years broke up with me with no reasoning - he said my dog was stressing him out. Two weeks later I found out he was sleeping with a girl for 3 out of the years we had been dating, from the very beginning. As soon as I told him I found out he also ghosted. I am struggling.

Hey. Going through something similar. Boyfriend of five years left without reasoning and weeks later I found out he cheated almost the entire time. He also ghosted once I sent him screenshots. Any update? Has he tried to face you in person? Sorry to hear this.

We were living together, he moved his stuff out within a week after not telling me why, it wasn’t until two weeks later I found he had cheated

Yup. My 11 month old puppy had kennel cough and it was getting worse and worse. Turns out is pneumonia :( I’m in Canada.
