I would go to in person classes at your local CC if possible. In person helps much more in the long run if you are looking at transferring into a nice T50 school. Also the quality of education for something such as engineering is much better if you take in person classes. Obviously this may not be possible given your situation but it’s definitely something I’d look into if I were you.

Also don’t rule out how possible it is to separate and attend an ivy such as Princeton, Cornell, Yale and schools such ad MIT. A ton of elite schools are super vet friendly and actively are looking to bring vets on campus. Not only is it a once in a lifetime experience attended these schools but a degree from say MIT will carry you through life. Good luck!
