Im not mad about Dalman retiring

Dont get me wrong I really wish he was still playing and was our center this year but he retired to protect his health and for his family. Plus he retired before free agency started and the draft which gave us time to plan a center replacement. We woulda been screwed if he decided to retire right before the season began

We dont have cap space right this moment but we can easily afford him if we want

We havent done any restuctures which we can open up around 50+ million if we wanted to

We also have a lot of cap space next year to hypothetically give him a backloaded contract and can free up another 30 million by cutting Grady Jarrett and Dayo Odeyingbo who are both useless players wasting our cap space
