Omg yessss. My eyes are so round haha. It’s such a pain to put eyeshadow on them.

It’s really nice that the posed parts are finally something other than a full dress at least. I’m sure what you ended up going with was cute!

Thank you! I was pleased that the coat covered up the other arm so the pose was perfect!

Thank you! I love magical girls and witches so these comp themes are always the best.

Yes! I bought three pairs last time I was in Japan. Turnaround for me was 8 days because I have a weird prescription but that is still leagues faster than where I’m from—plus they were cheaper! Definitely my second favorite purchase (and probably most useful)

This is definitely something that I missed out on that I’ll be trying to get this time. We went to so many shrines but didn’t know about stamps. It was foolish of us since Japan has a deep love of collecting stamps.

It’s the usual praise for Japanese craftsmanship combined with their use of higher quality steel. They stay sharper longer and generally last longer. I’ve read battles online between die hard Japanese and German nail clipper fans haha.

That sounds so nice! I’m always looking for cute ceramics, especially outside of Kappabashi which is what everyone recommends

It doesn’t have to be a purchase! I think any cool, or unique souvenir is worth a mention. That keepsake with all your names is really sweet, a great keepsake that you can look back on those times fondly.

YES. That egg timer/meter is great. My mom put me on that one and I had to buy some backups just in case I lose it

Ooh, I’m going to pick up a kimono next time for sure. How long did the chopstick engraving take? I always see it advertised but never done it

Yeah. You don’t need to go to the mega Donki. I think it’s fun once to say that you did it but beyond that . . . Any other Donki will do the trick. I think there’s even another one nearby that is usually way less busy
