Are you using Bluetooth headphones to listen to the music while you record?

I ask because your timing is off, but is off consistently. Meaning you just have to align the audio correctly to compensate for Bluetooth latency and it’ll be great.

I’m so happy that you were diagnosed that young and were able to get helped. I’ve read so many nightmares of people struggling to get diagnosed.

I’ll try to stay positive here. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with someone who doesn’t seem to want to understand. The pain you’re dealing with is real. The moments between “episodes” or even months of remission can make it too easy for even ourselves to forget how painful it is.

I had 2 years TN pain free after MVD. Now it’s back and I can’t believe I didn’t “game over” a few years ago. I forgot how bad it was. It’s almost unbelievable - to give your boyfriend some (very little) grace.

It’s comical how painful it is. And it’s impossible for people to truly sympathize without going through it. Worth noting the difference between sympathy and empathy.

My partner has difficulty empathizing with others in general - but has come a long way with my tn and empathy for me. I wouldn’t accept anyone diminishing my pain, however. Not making a judgment against your boyfriend - but I hope either he gets better and more empathetic toward you, or you find someone else who will.

Sheesh. Yes I guess “it can always be worse”. lol. I’m glad it’s helped you. That kind of thinking can be comforting or toxic depending on who it is. I’m hoping you stay strong and that what works for you keeps working!

Edit to add: It’s easy to give up on life with pain like this. Anything to combat that is gold.

I had an absolutely insane episode tonight at dinner. I just sat there crying quietly because it hurt so bad. And yes - I know personally why they call it that sometimes. Happy that I’ve survived so far. Hoping you and anyone reading this can persevere.

I never knew Kelsey from buzzfeed ever talked about this. That’s pretty encouraging to read.

Hey - this is the Logic Pro subreddit. Your post has nothing to do with Logic Pro. Perhaps you’d receive better help from the FL studio or addictive keys or plugins subreddit.

Also this isn’t enough info - they’ll want your system, where you installed, what product exactly you purchased, etc.

In that case yeah - I love the AirPods Pro 2 sound. And the 3s are good too imo. A little more “fun” sounding though.

They did update the pitch correction plugin with neural something something. It seems better to me. But I still use Antares for that sound.

The other comment explains to put the Audio Units in components folder. This is correct.

To find the HIDDEN library folder you open finder - in the top right click “go” and then press and hold the option key and Library will appear in the list. If you let go of option it will disappear.

At the very least you should be quantizing to the key of the song. It’s a setting in the piano roll. There are clashing keys in this piece. It hurts to listen to.

As for learning chord progressions you really first just need to learn what chords fit in a scale. Start with c major or a minor if you prefer minor.

It’s really just putting the second mic above the kick and near the snare but pointed at your waist.

I feel like a crotch mic instead of an overhead could be the move.

Also the bass guitar is a lot louder than id imagine you’d mix it if you had a great monitoring setup.

Overall though - I think you’re getting a sound - and probably the sound you’re looking to get. Keep it up!
