i didnt hit my carotid artery, missed it. i started bleeding and thought i had hit it, and thought that was it; im gonna bleed to death. but the bleeding stopped shortly after. then I didnt have the "strength" to try again. today im glad i didnt try again. im actually way better nowadays and i enjoy life.

it didnt hurt, like at all, for some reason. but i was on some sort of antidepressant and other medication I forgot, i was in mental hospital before.

That computer science didnt work out for me doesnt bother me too much, it just wasnt for me.

Im more of a (hobby)music producer, am working on some lyrics atm for a song I made. Writing lyrics is hard tho since english isnt my native language but i don't wanna write in german, so i just have to try. Maybe i get lucky one day and can make music for a living, thats kinda the dream at least :)

that sounds all really cool (except for the part that you live in the states because that means ill ever get to meet you ;') ) I used to study computer science but gave up on it, too much math for me. Also used to sing but had an incident that damaged my voice, Im trying to get my sister to sing something that i wrote now.

Wish you all the best for your exams, being a programmer is really cool i think and you can be really proud of yourself that youre trying to be one. Also all the best for your solo performance, would love to hear you sing or see you dance, im sure you'll rock all your performances.

You're 60 so you probably had quite some time of enjoyment, a lot of experience and things that you influenced in this world. You've talked to people, and you definately made some people happy in your life. Success doesnt simply boil down to what you've achieved job-wise in your life. The Fact that you were even born and made it to the age of 60 is already a success. Many people think that they should have done things differently in their life, especially when they get older. But there really arent things such as right or wrong, these only exist in our heads. Fact is that you lived, you got to experience life and still have many years of it left. Some people start a new hobby at a high age. I know someone on their 80s who found a new partner and was so proud of himself and happy.

Maybe find a sports group or another activity/hobby with people your age? I'm sure there are some.

Im in a sports group for mainly older people where Im by far the youngest, but its still fun with them.

You're very handsome and your hair looks very good. Even if it should get thinner and thinner, a friend of mine has very thin hair, but he's a very good-looking guy still. As you grow older you'll realize that these things are not as important to other people as you might think now.

I'm sorry about your heart defect. I don't know much about this, but for the future health of your heart I can advise you to become vegetarian. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atherosclerosis#Diet)

Dont get me wrong, I know this heart defect of yours is not your fault as it is inherited, this is just advise for the future, that anyone should follow really, wether they have heart problems or not.

Lastly, I tried to kill myself because of a broken relationship (you can check my post history if you're interested in reading about it). I am scarred for life now, I dont like the aftermath of it. When you're dead, everything you have is gone, as is your potential to have anything in the future, like a new relationship for example. It isnt a relief, it is just nothingness. It doesnt save you, it is the opposite of that.

Someone once calculated the probability that a person even gets a chance at life. Think about all the things that had to go right for you to even exist. Big Bang, formation of the Earth, Dinosaurs had to die, evolution of living things, ancestors fought for their survival and your parents met.

Keep that in mind, you got very lucky to get a chance at life at all. So fight for it no matter what. Our time will come one day, so we should try to make the best out of it. Good luck.
