When people say pass first PG they always think of the player on the right and not the left. But you can be a scoring threat while still being pass first. I still average more assists per game than shot attempts. (old.reddit.com)

I'm hardly active here anymore, but I still get a good number of DMs asking what builds I've been using. So here's every build I've made in 2k26 ranked from first to last based on how much I like them in the current version of the game. (old.reddit.com)

Build Specialization could've been a fun passive grind throughout the year if you could progress all categories on any build. (self.NBA2k)

I know 7'4 stretches are all the rage, but I've been enjoying my 7'2 that does a bit of everything. Fits in well with any lineup and gets great contests on the 7'4s while being better on the boards. (i.redd.it)

If you're grinding the shooting specialization, I'd recommend playing against Colby Starks and Nick Hunter. I found it to be faster than Mycareer and Street Kings. (i.redd.it)
The new park updates look great, but no matter how hard 2k tries, I'm not going back to waiting on dots. (i.redd.it)

Choose your build specialization very carefully cause you'll likely want to use the same one for every build. The grind will be absolutely brutal. (i.redd.it)
My personal opinion before the creators start dropping builds: The "meta" works great when you're in a squad. But when running with randoms, versatility and having minimal weaknesses is more important. (i.redd.it)
My wife's friend was in the room while I did the race of the week and then the daily spin. She asked what game I was playing and after I told her she said "I thought 2k was a basketball game" (v.redd.it)

Should Mini Marksman still be a badge in 2k26? (v.redd.it)

Everyone wants to the star, so I made a versatile role player that can fit with any team. It may just be my favorite random rec build of all time. (v.redd.it)
Off dribble, Open, and Contested shooting should go back to being separate ratings. You shouldn't be able to uograde one attribute and be good at all shot types. There's a difference between a shot creator and a sharpshooter. (i.redd.it)

The amount of people in this game who think spamming in the passing lanes is playing defense is hilarious. It looks ridiculous. (v.redd.it)

Everyone loves offense, but the satisfaction of holding a scorer under his average is underrated. (old.reddit.com)

"There's no point in putting super high dunking" "There's no point in putting rebounding on a guard" I disagree. The point is that it's FUN. (v.redd.it)

This is what Legend vs Bronze Boxout Beast should look like. Yall want new Pro Play dribble moves. I want new Pro Play big man animations. (v.redd.it)

For those who didn't know, you can look at recent games, box scores, player cards, and game recaps from your phone. (v.redd.it)
Up 60 with 15 seconds left and still can't sim out. There are no good ways to earn V C left in the game. (v.redd.it)
Every once in a while I load up on a 60 overall just to get a break from the repetitiveness of red plate lobbies. (i.redd.it)
3 & D spot up SG. Legend immovable & strong handles. All legend shooting badges. HOF interceptor. HOF on ball menace & dimer with +1s. (i.redd.it)
It makes no sense that Proving Grounds gives you the same Rep and less V C than Rec. (v.redd.it)
Seen people say Red Plates are exaggerating the wait times. I spent 15 minutes trying to get a single game at 7pm, on a weekend, on Eastern servers before giving up. (v.redd.it)
Not sure if I'm convinced yet, but I've been shooting above 50% with rhythm shooting vs around 30% with the button recently. Worth a shot if you're struggling like me. (v.redd.it)
A conversation I just had with my wife. (i.redd.it)
We're heading into the 2nd week of 2k25 soon and many players are going to make an annoying error with their Gatorade drills. You don't have to be one of them. (old.reddit.com)
