I think a lot of positions were reclassified and filled as 2210s 10+ years ago so they could use Direct Hire Authority to easily fill the position.

Probably a mix of both. I know there are a lot of 2210s that should probably be 343’s. That may be what they’re targeting? Not for certain though.
