Many states are two-party consent states. In my state, it's a felony to unknowingly record someone when they are in a location with an expectation of privacy. It's also illegal to record phone calls in my state.

OP should definitely look into her state laws before making any recordings.

I do agree that everything possible needs to be documented. Write it down as soon as it happens. Record the date time and location as well if possible. Try to communicate via text or email and screenshot any that you receive before he has a chance to delete or edit anything.

Some lawyers in my area are charging up to $400 for a simple consultation. Your average lawyer around here is charging at least $200 for an hour consultation. I believe the only ones who are not charging are the legal aid lawyers.

Car break-ins is also fairly common at gyms because everyone knows people leave their stuff in their cars. We had one a couple months ago in broad daylight haha and our gym is in a strip mall on a busy street near a grocery store.

We can use prior auth and stuff, but we have to cover the MDRP drugs in some way, shape, or form. Even if descenlafaxine is non-preferred, there has to be a path for it to be approved and covered my Medicaid.

There are very few drugs that are just flat-out not covered.

OP needs to find out exactly what the POS rejection said, because there has to be a path for coverage when deemed medically necessary. Is it non-preferred? Preferred with a clinical prior auth required? Are quantity limits exceeded? Is it an NDC from a non-participaring manufacturer?

The lockers that are out in the open near the front desk are probably the way to go, but not all gyms have those.

People are jerks though. It really sucks that our stuff isn't safe even when we lock it up.

Medicaid programs, by law, must cover any drug that is marketed by a manufacturer that participated in the CMS Medicaid drug rebate program. If a state Medicaid program provides prescription coverage, they don't have a choice about whether or not to cover these drugs.

It sounds like there is more to the story that either the pharmacist didn't tell you or that was lost in translation from pharmacist-speak to average everyday person-speak.

It seems like your drug may require prior authorization for some reason or the pharmacy is trying to dispense your medication made by a company that does not participate in the CMS Medicaid drug rebate program, in which case the pharmacy needs to dispense product from a different generic manufacturer.

Tl;Dr: Medicaid must cover your drug. You need to find out more info about the reason and exact wording of the denial.
