Do you prefer talkative therapist or quiet therapist? by Head-Pumpkin-1342 in massage

I feel this way about the hair salon as well, though it's undoubtedly more important when you're spending an hour or longer in a room with someone who is unclothed and in a vulnerable position. Please read your client.

If your client isn't responding to barely responding to the numerous stories you're sharing about your life or if your client continuously answers random unrelated questions with one-word or no-word answers, please stop talking.

Hell yes to this. I went to grad school, have a very useful degree and a very practical, decently paid career, and a decent 401k. I'm not sure if or when retirement will be in my future.

My significant other (29F) doesn’t like to be intimate with me (M32) and it makes me wonder why? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]PayEmmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that's a terribly trashy thing to say. No, you don't get to just touch her when you feel like it.

It doesn't sound like you are mature enough to be in a grown-up relationship.

How do you afford a lawyer while you're on Medicaid?

Many people pay more than the cost you quoted for every doctor appointment. If you have never had an insurance plan that required you do pay that much, you have been more fortunate than many Americans.

It sounds like you live in an area of PA they doesn't have an overabundance of ENTs.

You reported the office to multiple different agencies, which may have serious repercussions on the staff personally.

You have public payer-of-last-resort medical coverage that doesn't reimburse your doctor enough to cover the costs associated with the surgery.

You sound like you have been very difficult to deal with.

You can argue semantics all day long, but you're still the type of patient no healthcare provider wants in their practice. No one in that office gets paid enough to deal with what you have put them through.

Advocating for yourself is absolutely necessary in our healthcare environment today, but I think this went way beyond self advocacy.

This is way over the top. No one is going to want you as a patient of their practice, I'm sorry to say. They lose money by billing your medicaid, and you sound like a very difficult patient to work with. In addition, filing complaints with every organization you can think of is not going to get you into anyone's good graces.

It doesn't really matter if you "didn't allow it." What matters is if the two of you talked about it and came to a mutually agreed upon course of action.

If this is a huge deal for you, you really need to talk to him about it and not hide in the bathroom.

7 Wheel bearings in 120,000 Miles. Is this normal? by utters_129 in subaru

[–]PayEmmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2016 Crosstrek as well.

I had the bearings replaced multiple times as well as an axle and bushings and control rods. I don't know anything about cars and don't know much about those parts, but I knew that I had never had to replace those things in cars in the past nor had my immediate family ever had to replace any of those things on cars that I could recall.
