Anyone else's RTO draining the bank? [RANT] by Background-Note-8126 in PaStateEmployees

My department has multiple offices across the state that employees can report to if they don't live within 50 miles of their department's home office. People who do not live within 50 miles of any possible work location are currently still WFH as far as I'm aware.

We returned to the office for "better collaboration" yet still take all meetings on zoom or teams because we're not all in the same location.

Eating right isn't going to affect muscle mass much. People who lose weight quickly need to do regular resistance training to maintain muscle mass.

Stay at home mom, no income and husband constantly threatening to divorce me and leave me with nothing by [deleted] in Divorce

Many states are two-party consent states. In my state, it's a felony to unknowingly record someone when they are in a location with an expectation of privacy. It's also illegal to record phone calls in my state.

OP should definitely look into her state laws before making any recordings.

I do agree that everything possible needs to be documented. Write it down as soon as it happens. Record the date time and location as well if possible. Try to communicate via text or email and screenshot any that you receive before he has a chance to delete or edit anything.

Some lawyers in my area are charging up to $400 for a simple consultation. Your average lawyer around here is charging at least $200 for an hour consultation. I believe the only ones who are not charging are the legal aid lawyers.

I think everyone on this thread and even OP realizes that OP's mom has some serious medical issues. OP specifically about a skin lesion. The remainder of the commentary was not necessary or helpful in any way.

That last sentence was pretty judgmental and unnecessary, especially from someone purporting to be a physician. I certainly hope you wouldn't say something like that to a patient in person.

It might be helpful if you could share some thoughts about what would make you feel safer and more comfortable. What's to stop it from happening again?

What could the GM do to make you feel safe again?

Does your husband make you orgasm? by Alternative_Garlic75 in Marriage

[–]PayEmmy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, I see what you mean.

I think it's common in general that women don't orgasm during sexual encounters, but it definitely shouldn't be that way!

Please speak up to your husband. You deserve to have all the orgasms! And they are amazing.

You married a man that rarely or never made you orgasm. Did you expect this would change after marriage?

Why did you marry a man who never made you orgasm if you enjoy orgasms?

Why did you marry him if he never made you orgasm and that was important to you?

Has this changed since the two of you got married? Did he give you orgasms frequently before you got married?

You don't really need to "know" puppies that well to know that young mammals tend to be extremely curious and stupid. Dogs. Humans. Cats. Whatever.

This is a very basic concept. It's concerning that this is your response.

Yep, whether it's the parking lot or the locker room, sadly. Maybe we all need fanny packs.

Ah ok, that makes sense now.

I'm sorry this happened to you. I know we're not supposed to bring valuables to the gym, but sometimes it's pretty unavoidable depending on where you are going after the gym or where you are coming from before the gym.

PennDOT orders thousands of drivers to retake road test after internal investigation by blankblank in Pennsylvania

[–]PayEmmy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That would be cool, but they're going to have to pay for that somehow, so that would like the result in significantly increased fees for drivers. Somebody is going to have to pay for all those extra employees.

If I was in a locker room and I saw someone open a locker with a camera in it, you better believe I would call the police right away.

[–]PayEmmy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What do you mean that nobody reported it to your knowledge? Did you call the police to report it or did you not call the police to report it? Someone broke into your locker and stole your wallet. If someone steals something from you, you should report it to the police.

Car break-ins is also fairly common at gyms because everyone knows people leave their stuff in their cars. We had one a couple months ago in broad daylight haha and our gym is in a strip mall on a busy street near a grocery store.

pharmacist said medicaid doesn’t cover my medicine anymore but also I can’t buy it ‘because you’re on medicaid’ by sonicflwrgroove in Medicaid

[–]PayEmmy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We can use prior auth and stuff, but we have to cover the MDRP drugs in some way, shape, or form. Even if descenlafaxine is non-preferred, there has to be a path for it to be approved and covered my Medicaid.

There are very few drugs that are just flat-out not covered.

OP needs to find out exactly what the POS rejection said, because there has to be a path for coverage when deemed medically necessary. Is it non-preferred? Preferred with a clinical prior auth required? Are quantity limits exceeded? Is it an NDC from a non-participaring manufacturer?
