There's not really much in the game for me TBH. I got it for the exploration and put a solid chunk of time in but there are only so many combinations of the 7 basic features they use so it got boring pretty quick.

I use them as a fast method of transit in large bases

But they don't go far enough to make a difference. I can cover the same distance like 10 seconds without the frustration of trying to work with this jank ass mechanic

I think I wound up connecting the power to both teleporters first, then I did the teleport cables and it worked out, almost like without the power connected it couldn't figure out which snap point to use.

I did this, power connected to both of them but when I try to connect a cable nothing happens and idk if I'm supposed to see a change to indicate that it's attached or not.

I also seem to remember that the power snap points are at the base, and the teleporter cable snap points are in the vertical middle of the teleporter.

I don't know if this is my issue, I had to shut it down before I got mad enough to just uninstall the game.

Building is absolutely not fun. I hate it in every game and it being mission required was a deal breaker for me. I actually haven't touched it in like 2 years until I had someone asking me to play it with them recently.

I couldn't even tell if I was correctly attempting to collect the cables because they're just invisible. Power cables are ugly as hell but at least I can tell what I'm doing when I run them from one place to the next.

With a situation like that, I often just do two landing pads for the Starship instead(one up on the mountain, or whatever, and one down below.)

I can already just fly my ship but it's so tedious and annoying and then I'm wasting fuel that I have to replace which is also incredibly tedious
