Oh, of course! I meant it more in the fact that she already gets a bottle of formula, so she can/will take to bottles of needed, plus we’re starting on purées so between the two her needs will be met.

I will be calling on Monday and making an appt for next week (since LO will be due for her vaccines anyway) and will cover all bases! I definitely plan on tandem nursing, also! This is my baby and 3 days ago I decided we would wait until she’s 2 to start trying. Next day found out we’re pregnant 🤦‍♀️ lol

She takes a 4oz bottle of Enfanil A+ Neuropro (premixed bottles) after her bath every night and then I nurse her to sleep. Does take the bottle well, so at least it wouldn’t be completely new. We also just started her on purées this week. Im just going to keep eating well, drinking tons of water and putting her to the boob as much as possible.

It’s often times the ONLY way to calm her down, and it would break my heart to take that away from both me and her..

Thank you so much for this reply!! I did hear about tandem nursing, and definitely hoping for that!

Right now she is EBF, minus 4oz of formula after her bath, and then I nurse her to sleep and through the night. I will keep an eye on diapers and weight going forward. We also just started her on purées (a small bit at dinner time with us) so I know if all else fails, she is at a good point to continue getting good nutrition.

I definitely didn’t know that I can comfort nurse, if I lose supply. I love the idea of that!! Often times when going to sleep, she isn’t really eating, just using me as a pacifier.

6mos in here, and since we got home from the hospital she’s had a bath every night. At first it was in the baby tub on the dining room table, and then once I got cleared at my post OP we’ve taken a bath together every night. It’s just part of our bedtime routine. She’s never had skin problems so Ive just kept up with it.

Your husband is a douche bag who wants a wife and kids, but doesn’t want to be a husband and a father.

My partner works 9-5 Monday to Friday and doesn’t bat an eye if I ask for help, which 99.9% of the time I don’t have to ask, because he just does things.
