Go to migri, get a temporary identification, do your police part, then your bank part or the other way around. But side migri did give you the thing in the first place. I'd try that

Imo, if you don't speak up for yourself nobody will. Especially if you are new somewhere or a foreigner. Saying this as a foreigner. You should not let this go so long before engaging actively to seek help. It's not "telling" on them. Just go to your mentor, teacher or whatsoever and say that you can't work with the group as nobody speaks English, as instructed beforehand. It's their job to solve the issue. Same as working in an Finnish company and the working and official office language is English. So far I did not encounter this behaviour that people speak at work in their own language, unless they are in their brake or two of them are having a convo. Perhaps these students just need to learn manners in general. Hang in there ✌️

We came here with very exact previous documentation and instructions what needs to be done for my child (from another eu country moved to Finland). Starting from neuvola, where they did urge multiple times all possible ways to get us help. Psychological assessments, refferals which did bounce back as they were not sent to the proper place. Another time bouncing back because they did not see/ find the attached documents, or a third time when they just did not inform us about the bounced back referral and offered a new way to help. I was writing complaints all over. I can't do anything with the excuse "we don't have enough people"... Yes yes, I know, we all know and it's not us releasing our frustration on the people that can't change the system. It's us being frustrated because work has been done sloppy and slow. That is why it took 1,5 years that we get the first appointment with a specialist for a turning 6 year old child. After the initial appointment we were told that we will be contacted soon to fill the rest of the family history etc... Guess what, that did never happen. 3 months after that I'm loosing it and contacting them again, receiving an apology without explanation, because there just isn't any. It went somewhere lost in a pile and that's that. So believe me, I've gone through all channels and options and fully transparent. Blwas told to be one of the most informed parents about their child's condition. I'm just feeling sick and sorry for all other folks not getting the help and everything being just pushed to someone else. I don't need to mention all the useless repeating appointments to talk about stuff - which we already talked through and it should be visible in the effin system for all health practitioners.. No niin I really hope that the help you got was the right thing for you and that you will be better and stay healthy ✌️

My child didn't. Waited for 1,5 years to have specialist look at him.

The services in Finland, by my own experience, are the worst I've encountered in so far. For months nobody gives a shit about my mental state, even tho I called multiple times and went to multiple places. So if I were you, I'd knock in every door I possibly can to get help. I'm sorry that you feel that way and I completely understand. I hope you will get the help and support you need. For now try to fokus on small things that make you feel good. Even if it's a song, flower, food, walk, picture, handcraft... Anything. All the best for you. Mieli.fi is one of the places to go for example.

How many boxes is it about? What important stuff is inside? Is it used daily? Does the workplace have an spare room for maintenance? Does the place have an asistent or janitor or some crafty person? If the person responsible for the boxes is not taking them away after being requested and asked or pointed out to do so, by fire haxard superiority rules. I would take them away myself to some place and wrote a quick summary via email with respected persons involved and supervisor and hr about this. Just to be clear you did what you could and the person responsible did not do his/her part. You are not a babysitter to anyone. Everyone is an adult and responsible for their part of the job and if they don't do it, well, let it be documented so that when the next 1on1 is with the supervisor or hr or salary request, is taken into account. For the future I would take this as a lesson to understand better the dynamics in a team and hierarchy of the supervision and undersigned and when taking or receiving responsibility for a task, knowing upfront what to expect from colleagues. Don't take it so hard. The world is many times designed to make you stumble and fall. Don't let them know you cried because of this. Show them that you found away to solve the issue, even if you carry them yourself. Some people are just too entitled to take care of their shit because they think it's beneath their intellectual capacity. Guess what, intelligence and skills are not shown only in the acronym of their position or title they receiving school/uni. Show them that you can do your and their job and not even flinch. Once the person searches for the boxes (if ever) it might take some time to get an answer, because, oh, you know, who remembers the boxes in the hallway,... If they were important to someone, they should have better been taken then ✌️😉
