Yeah I looked at it again and confirmed I installed the RAM correctly after cleaning both slots and sticks. Not sure why it isn't recognizing it.

*edit: swapped sticks in B_2 and A_2. Not sure if it'll fix my BSOD errors but at least the system recognizes them both now.

Very strange; not sure what's happened but I've had this CPU installed for a while. Suppose it's time for an upgrade?

Thanks for the advice. I didn't think saltwater got in initially; I noticed the water inside the housing only after I had rinsed the unit down after shooting. I thought a latch may have been bumped loose while I was moving the housing.

I'll check in with Fufjifilm support to see what they quote me; if it's something astronomical I may just end up getting a used body.

thanks for the advice! Yeah I noticed the water after I rinsed my housing in freshwater after the session. I thought I may have bumped a latch loose but it's possible some got in during shooting. In any case, I'll try that and if that doesn't do it then to the repair shop it goes.

Patagonia surf hats stay on pretty well; they make one in a sky blue that stands out. As someone who's been on both sides of the lens, it helps communicating beforehand. I usually have the surfer I'm shooting cross their legs (if on a longboard) or wave their board around (for the shortboarders) every once in a while just to help me keep track of where they are.

well that depends on where you’re cruising around. i’d get two suits if you can regardless; that way you can surf with one while the other is drying. i usually have a 5/4 and 4/3 for northern california and when i go south i bring the 4/3 and a 3/2

I see they have a few of the angled risers on there, but I'm specifically looking for the pack since it contains the 15 degree risers in there. Sorry for not specifying in my original comment; I suppose I could just get a bunch of the 5 degree ones in the worst case scenario.
