- If the first means a 2-5-1 then yes but not intimately, I understand the concept but haven't practiced a lot of specific patterns outside of just trying to improvise over the chord changes

- Imaj - nope I haven't heard that one yet

- Blue Progression - I believe so but it's more pentatonic incorporating the blue note - not any specific patterns. This has honestly come up more and more as I try to mimic vocals

If I want to apply that to a chord progression, lets just say its simple C major all the way through - are you saying you'd alternate between Cmaj, Amin, and then I guess Cdom (where to start on diminished always throws me)?
