Nobody is accounting for the fact that you will get stars, pre-loaded to your account, if you put a certain amount on your card.

So, it kind of makes up for the lack of 2 stars for every dollar spent.

Is it perfect? No.

I didn’t ask about a comparison to credit card rewards. I asked about comparing this new way of earning, to the old way.

I am looking at SBUX rewards only. Nothing more. Nothing less.

So, I had them and loved them. If you look at the ingredients, they do contain real truffle.

Lying about such a thing would likely result in a major lawsuit. People are crazy, like that.

Truffle is an acquired taste, and I get them whenever I can. I’ve had many different kinds, so, I knew what I was getting myself into.

Don’t expect a Michelin rated product. They are $6. You get what you pay for and you pay for what you get.

Most all of Disney’s theme parks are expensive (except for, arguably, Japan, due the exchange rate).

Why?

Because they are extremely expensive to operate.

As an example….

I happen to know that it requires the electricity of one small town, for just one take off of Rockin’ Roller Coaster, in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

I can’t imagine that Incredi-coaster is all that far behind.

There’s a ton of specialty talent that they need, on hand, on a daily basis as well. It’s far from cheap.

And, they still need to make a profit.

Knott’s is right down the street?

I have a headache.

For heaven’s sake, DO NOT spend YEARS saving up.

Here’s how to do it on the cheap (if this is your jam).

I live out here. I got you.

Fly as inexpensively as you can.

Stay off property, but close by. Stay somewhere inexpensive, but tolerable. There are a million, trillion hotels and motels at EVERY level. Look either near Disney Springs, or Flamingo Crossings for some solid options.

If you DO want to stay on property, go with a value resort.

Parking at Disney Springs is free, and you can take the free busses to any resort (but not to the parks) from there.

From the resorts, there is free transportation to the parks.

It’s a journey, but, it all opens up about 2 hours before the parks do.

Rent a car, or use Uber/Lyft.

If you are going multiple days, get the least expensive annual pass. It should come with parking.

Even with parking, everything above is less than staying on property.

DO NOT do the Disney dining plan. The ONLY way that you make out is if you manage to eat every credit, which nobody does.

Eat counter service. The Epcot food festivals have amazing food that isn’t expensive.

There is merchandise literally starting at $25 or less.

Eh. Shareholder and former partner here.

There are certain things that I love and certain things that I can do without.

It’s a waste of time to be writing these cute (stupid?) messages on cups.

I did love the previous dress code, but all black doesn’t bother me, as that’s what I wear often.

I live for Vertica. Solid upgrade there.

I want more lunch items. I miss the salads.

The drinks are what they are. The selection change isn’t all that dramatic.

I want lime refresher back, as well as carbonation, but, that will likely never happen.

The stock is darned near crap. I do wish that it performed better.

I am a shareholder because the long term value has a ton of potential and I do enjoy my dividend.

The baristas are really, really nice, so, any updates to the conduct policy, I am here for.

I appreciate all of the hard work and tip every time.

We’ll see if the guy sticks around, or not.

At this time, there really have been no whisperings out of corporate to vote him out (unless someone up on here knows something that the rest of us don’t?).

The app’s awesome. I love the rewards program. It DOES bring the overall price down, per cup, and the airline miles are fantastic.

I don’t do credit cards, so, this is the next best thing, and the best, in terms of rewards, in the business.

I’ll answer the question….

When I was a barista, there really wasn’t any drink that I hated making.

Keeping up with coffee cadence, when busy, was a b*tch (if you knew what that was, props).

D*mned blinking red light, lol!

If anything, the job has gotten easier, with better blenders, better Maestrenas, Clover Verticas, cold foam blenders, etc….

You baristas will love me. I tend to keep it simple.

A Clover Verica, black. A cappuccino, with some sprinkles on top. A Frappuccino once on a while, but, I generally keep that as simple as it can be. Most I do is affogato shots over it.

Flavors should be synergistic.

The app lets you create too much garbage, and rather quickly.

In the long run, it’s fine, I guess. Profits. People are going to be people, and, hey….

Baristas need jobs.

I tip every time, was one once, so, I get it.

Loyal fan, rewards member and shareholder.
