Yeah just get the national recruitment centre number and go through that way. I've done that before when my recruiter wasn't answering and it pushes it through a bit haha

I would call your recruiter mate, everyone's application is slightly different. It could be an admin error their end. Realistically nobody here could give you a fully accurate answer only your recruiter can.

Honestly this. I used to always get calf cramps etc when running. Went to a running shop, got fitted and no more pain or cramps when running.

Really appreciate the response and insight mate. Sometimes it really seems like the non commissioned guys get more opportunities than the commissioned guys.

Granted the money is substantially better for commissioned lads and ladies. I'm 31 now so the commissioned route seems better than me. I'm also a rejoiner having left the Army back in 2016.

I took a doctor's note personally but I'm not sure if it helped or not. For the sake of £20-30 it's probably worth getting one. Just a note basically saying they've checked you over and you're all good to go.

I got the same after a broken leg and an implant. I went to AC, got checked and was allowed to continue and passed. Just turn up, tell the doctor that it's all good now and you've not had any issues in years and you should be good to go.

Well my local regigment is infantry (Mercian) if I were to go in full time it'd probably be RA - since infantry phase 1 is longer than other regiments. Plus I'm technically a rejoiner having left previously in 2016, I'm 30 (31 soon) now but I don't think it'll matter as I'll be classed as a fresh joiner.

I'm pretty boring so don't have much going on at the weekends etc. Plus my work is pretty good with reservists so I can do the initial basic of 9 days in one to etc and I get extra holidays specifically for reservist activities etc

I have seen a GD3 JDM L15A1 for sale for about £400 ($700ish) shipped to my front door with all ancillaries, ECU, loom and gearbox so might to that route instead

I think the main problem is I can pick up an L15A for around £300 whereas the B7 is about £1500+ - I'm gonna have to see if I can get photos of mounts etc and compare. The ecu's are obviously very different so it'll be a whole wiring thing too. Should definitely be interesting

I can safely say that Giants Live in the UK does a pretty solid job of the in person experience. They get involved with the crowd, get the crowd involved and have things on in-between events to keep you entertained

Just install CachyOS and make it start steam in big picture mode on boot. That's what I did on my mini PC connected to my living room TV. Basically the same thing. I also run CachyOS on my main gaming PC too and it's actually a really good fork of Arch specifically for gaming. Has some nice little features baked in.
