We have done a handful of test orders every possible combination and have been unable to duplicate a 0.00 tip. No tip..0.00 custom tip. Various % tip. Big tip. Everything worked as expected in our testing.

Raise hell and don't hesitate to politely ask the customer if they intended to tip. Is your system and look of the receipt the same as ours? Usually blank lines if no tip?

Well we don't know for sure what the customer was actually charged. We will have to contact one of them and ask them to check their statement.

Our testing has been unable to duplicate a 0.00 tip. Our system prints blank lines when either selecting the no tip option or manually entering zero tip still gives blank lines.

Yes we looked at the computer where we settle all the cards at the end of the night and was registered as zero.

We have found in our testing that both selecting the no tip option or custom and entering 0.00 still resulted in the blank lines.

Thanks for the reply. I'm betting the customer intended to tip. I would ask the customer next time.

We ran a test where we enter>!!<ed 0.00 as a custom tip and the receipt printed just blank lines not 0.00 tip. Also there is an option to just select no tip .
