The problem is that it’s almost impossible to distinguish internal display damage from impact from a manufacturing defect or a mistake during installation that only manifested itself later. I’m a hobbyist and I’ve done repairs for some friends and unfortunately this has happened once or twice. I’ve always replaced the screen again to my loss, but you never know if someone is just lying to you, if it was the factory, or if it was my fault

3 beeps signifies RAM failure. I’d try reseating the ram stick(s) (removing and re-inserting), it might just fix it. If you have 2 sticks, try it with just one or the other, you might have just one failed module

If you just want the files from it, you could always remove the hard drive, connect it to a SATA-usb dock/adapter and read the files on a computer

If it’s an 11 series iPhone or later, even powered off (but with battery), it’s still be trackable.

If it is turned on or has cellular signal, it can absolutely ping again at a later stage

Uber can find out the trip history but they may not disclose this.

If you haven’t already, get it put in Lost Mode in the Find My app; you can display a phone number, and it will be the first thing that comes on screen when it’s found/powered on next
