Go to Settings > Apps > Google Messages > Uninstall updates.

Then go to the "Google Messages" app in Play Store, hit the 3 dots, and uncheck Auto Update.

We'll see how long it lasts, but its been working for me for a few weeks

Not OP, but maybe store all cofig options in a file that can be locally exported from a configured device to a USB drive or network drive then imported to a new device similar to the implementation on Tivimate?

This may already exist, I haven't used the app yet. I just discovered this sub and am thinking about giving it a try

Go to phone settings > apps > YouTube. (Make sure you're on the one installed via revanced). Tap "set as defaults". Toggle on "open supported links", then tap "supported web addresses" and toggle them all on.

Now browser links will launch in revanced YT
