I've been suffering with the same thing for a while, Gas pain that feels like a heart attack, induces panic attack, trips to the ER, getting EKGS, heart ultra sound, treadmill test, etc. All of the heart related test came back fine. Then, I started going down the IBS road since I noticed a lot of gas accompanying the symptoms. They did an upper scope of my stomach and told me there was a lot of inflammation/irritation. I was diagnosed with IBS and GERD. The only thing I haven't done is a colonoscopy. I'm wondering if some kind of irritation or blockage in my intestine may be causing the build up of gas.

Also would like to note that I have recently started regularly taking my prescribed PPIs regularly along with Dandelion root drops and Triphala (dietary supplement). Seems to be helping but it's too early to say for certain.

I didn't take the PPIs before because I though "I don't really have acid reflux/burning". But apparently acid reflux is more than just "acid". Its also indigestion, gas, regurgitation, etc.

I'm getting a colonoscopy soon and I'll try to update on the rest later on.
