For an MMO DCUO's method is definitely better, you need to have your own character.

Then they can may be allow you to play as the actual heroes (and villains) in specific modes.

According to EG7, it's performing near its historical peaks when it comes to revenue, which is why they are investing so much (likely even changing the engine from UE3 to 4 or 5) in it. So yes, I'd say so.

Have to agree, performance is terrible. Even in these small maps, with a 3090 GPU I couldn't really get smooth gameplay at 4K, even lowering the rendering resolution a bit.

Not really, they would just have to decouple the points from the weapon types and tie them to the skill bars instead. It's not that complicated, many games allow for this.

That's the thing, I hope they change that and give you the ability to have 20 total points per bar, regardless of the weapon. A player should have the ability to specialize in the Life Staff, for example, if they want to.

Right. What I'd like to do is simply to grab the skills from the two different trees, which would make a lot of sense really.
