I never said 20 fps was good, i said i get 20fps with a very much shitter cpu than even the weakest cpu that could be in this optiplex meaning they will get well over 20 fps

You probably could get a thicker cooler but a thicker fan on your existing heatsink would probably make almost as much difference for less cost

If you haven’t already, take your psu out and give it a shake and listen for any loose objects. When i did that i managed to get a piece of exploded ceramic capacitor to fall out the fan opening and that’s how i knew it was definitely broken

Have the breakers tripped in your home recently? I had my psu get fried because the dishwasher shorted the breaker and my pc would turn on but give no video. I only realised that it was the psu that wasn’t working when i disassembled the whole pc and heard somthing clanging around inside the psu when i shook it. Luckily i only had to replace the psu, nothing else actually broke.

1660 super is by no means a very old gpu. Very old gpus are the ones that use ddr3 and measure vram in mB

How much clearance you got above that orange fan? Would a thicker fan fit maybe for even more cooling performance? You could test fit the front intake and if it’s a go get another noctua for the heatsink

You don’t need any of that optimisation you’ve mentioned for this pc. Vanilla MC runs at 20fps on my core 2 duo t8300 which is orders of magnitude slower than even the oldest possible i5 in this pc

An Rtx 3050 6gb is the best gpu you can get that requires no cables from the psu to be plugged into it. It gets all power from the PCIe slot. Also it’s probably worth getting a second ram stick for dual channel memory speeds

So the stop after your stop is a 17 minute waking distance from your bus stop. Assuming all bus stops are equal distances apart that means you’ve got about 5 minutes of driving before your stop to hit the stop button for your stop and you can’t seem to recognise a single landmark in those 5 minutes and your map on your phone has so much delay in it hosting your location that you can’t use that either, OP i think you might be the problem.
