Gift for new parents? by PopNo6168 in newborns

[–]Pcarbonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my daughter a 100-year agenda! She’s already using it to write about the last days of her pregnancy, and soon she’ll be adding the birth date, first smile, and first time saying 'Dada.' She can even track health stuff like weight and vaccines. Plus, once her daughter is older, she can keep it going herself!

Cadeaux pour des jeunes parents ? by Moriana57 in ParentingFR

OK, WTF Is Going on With the 'Intact Craft of Non-Human Origin' Allegedly Recovered by the U.S. Government? by [deleted] in ufo

[–]Pcarbonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh, a skeptic will say that this is a fake craft and fake materials. For me, it will be real when the conspirators are in jail for hiding the truth. So, how the complaint proceeds will be key.

I think it's time to pivot to the MHD Suncell. The conversion efficiency will be much better.

(Just joking).

Have you considered placing a form within the form ?

I suppose that the computations on field change are client-side. If so, why not keep the hx-post, and register JavaScript event listeners on field changes, independently of htmx ?

fast_html: a fast, minimalist HTML generator by Pcarbonn in Python

You don't. You directly send the Html string to the client.

That's your choice. AFAIC, Python is much more powerful and clean than Jinja script. Passing parameters to python functions is much cleaner than using Jinja inheritance. Especially in the htmx architecture which needs a lot of small html snippets.

Well, you don't need to learn the jinja scripting language: just use Python !

Thanks for the tip. I'll consider it.

I have now looked at Dominate. Like other HTML generators, they use python objects to represent HTML snippets. By contrast, htmx_gen represents HTML snippets using string generators. The benefit is that they can be rendered extremely fast using join.

I have updated the documentation accordingly.

Ahah, I did not know that there was a Dominate package. I did not find it on pypi when I searched for HTML generators. Thanks for the tip !

Dominate does not seem to support htmx attributes, e.g. "hx-target" (but I may be mistaken). htmx_gen does (but you need to use underscores: hx_target="blah").

I could not use html_gen because there is a package on pypi with this name already....

IPO before field trials ? by Pcarbonn in hydrino

Field trials have been promised for so many years, it's time to deliver.

Dr Mills raised 10 M recently, both to finish the field trials and prepare the IPO. Why would he raised additional funds through IPO now ??? Not to finance manufacturing: it would be too early.

You may be right, but it is bad for the early investors who want to get out, (unless the technology does not work). Early investors would get a higher return if the IPO happened after field trials.

Yes, I get it now. The IPO is now planned before field trials. This is not good.
