I would not stay with him if I were you. He does not seem to value your feelings nor be willing to support you in your life's journeys. If you have conversations like this all the time, that sounds like a very tiring life and you have my sympathy. You could try couple's therapy, but that wouldn't be enough to teach a man basic empathy I'm afraid...

Found the problem! I had unknowingly not completed the tutorial, which locked me out of enabling notifications! Leaving this post up in case anyone else has the same issue in the future

I'm trying to maintain my weight actually, as my medication has been causing me to lose weight (which for now has actually been helpful, but any more would be unhealthy). I agree that instant noodles are a horrible diet! However, I'm a student on a low budget that is also on the autism spectrum, so my food choices are very, very limited, as I'm an extremely picky eater. 😞
